This studyfocus on two keywords " process indicators" and "morphological index" through the growth of flue-cured tobacco,and the pilot survey point area in northern Guangdong Nanxiong city and Shixing County.Firstly, from the perspective ofcharacteristics of flue-cured tobacco' growth, this thesis will do the comprehensive research on theimpact on theoutput and value by collectingrelevant yield data and observing the growing process of the individual tobacco plant. Secondly, from the perspective of characteristics of flue-cured tobacco's shape features, the thesis will also introduce three specific phenological periods–resettling stage, budding stage and dome stage according to the standard of division of flue-cured tobacco's growth period and observe tobacco plants' main agronomic trait on different points in time. The method of clustering analysis will be used in the thesis to select the main agronomic traits of the tobacco plants of similar nature on different periods;To compared thosewith tobacco plants' leaves yield and their output value, shape features of fine qualityand proper flue-cured tobacco plants on different periods can also be determined. This thesis will also provide an important basis for dynamically controlling flue-cured tobacco's growing through researching fine qualitytobacco leaves' growth features of both individual and group tobacco plants, which is one key precondition for obtaining fine qualityflue-cured tobacco leaves and an urgent question in current flue-cured tobacco production process that needs to be answered. Main results are now as following listed.(1)Transplanting time in north Guangdong is February, because in early, middle and late February there will be farmers from villages and towns who proceed the transplant, and in early July all tobacco leaves will be harvested. Tobacco plants transplanted by different time performed differently on their growing process, and even those transplanted by the same time could perform differently, too. Transplanting ahead of time, tobacco plants' growth period would be extended because of much too long earlier stage, on thecontrary, the growth would tend to be too short.(2)Survey points of flue-cured tobacco growing process the time range is determined. From when plants transplanted to the resettling stage, there would be 40 to 60 days, then to squaring stage there would be 15 to 25 days, and to ripe stage there should be 80 to 100 days. During the whole period, time difference that the plants need to grow ripe from transplanting would tend to shorten with postponing of the transplanting. Individual and group of the plants on different growing process would perform differently on their shapes even if they are at the same phenological period.(3)By the using of the method of clustering analysis, both main agronomic traits on resettling stage, budding stage as well as dome stage and main economic traits on different growing process can be divided into three classes. By their growing statuses, the three classes can be the strong class, middle class and weak class and economic traits high, medium and low. The three classes will provide basis of classification for determining process indexand morphological index.(4) Define the effect of different growing statuses and growingprocess of the plant s had seen differences between both single leaf weights and plant morphological structures,Build high-quality tobacco growing process mathematical model.When the plants are gr owing weakly or the techniques of planting are at a low level, or when the growth period i s relatively long or short, the shapes of the plants at mature period bear a shape of inverse tu rriform. The plants that are growing better took on olive shape but are of relatively higher si ngle leaf weights, which doesn't conform to the production requirement of tobacco leaf of f ine quality and proper yield. The growth duration after transplant of the plants of moderat e growing status, and tobacco fields of the medium cultivation level is about 131-135 day s. The plant shapes took on olive shape, and the single leaf weights are reasonable, with th e single leaf weight of middle leaves being roughly 15.00g(per leaf) and the average singl e leaf weight of upper leaves being less than middle leaves, which conforms to the producti on requirement of tobacco leaf of fine quality and proper yield.Establish high-quality toba cco leaf growing process with mathematical models, plant height, leaf area, leaf area index based.(5)Factors includes that different growing process causes an affect on leaves yield and output value, figures of plants and leaves become weighty after flue-cured turn out progress index and morphological index of fine quality and proper plants in north Guangzhou.
