Economic globalization yields worldwide productivity, commerce, logistic and staff turnover, greatly integrating various economic cultures all over the world. However, epidemics from animals and plants may be along with global integration, threating the security of the ecology and environment. These years, thousands of times have been pests intercepted ininternational mail, passenger carriage, wooden package and cargo container by China Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine. This thesis focuses on the intercepted pests in entry Jilin Province, which is rarely reported in previous studies. Based on pests intercepted in commerce and tourism entry in Jilin Province, statistics analyses and identification methodologies are carried out, which are critical to improving the quality of plant quarantine, understanding international commercial barriers, and protecting agricultural production safety in Jilin province.Preliminary conclusions are listed below based on data analyses, morphological identification and molecular biology assay:1. According to imported specimens of plants, vegetal products and containers from 2005 to2016, acquired pests included 10 families, 149 genera, 149 species, where forest pests occupies in a large proportion, containing 27 species in the Cerambycidae and 18 species from the Scolytidae;obtained weeds involved in 17 families, 45 species, most in the Asteraceae,13 species, followed by the Gramineae, 5 species; detecteddiseases from the fungi were beyond 51; captured nematodeswere relatively rare, dominant in saprophytic nematodes. Insects were mostly present in intercepted pests, in a composition of 60%. Fungus came at the second place, with a ratio of 21%.Weed occupied 18%, and nematode was least, 1%.2. 26 species of pests were inspected from imported specimens from 2005 to 2016, with insects and weeds each in the proportion of 46%, and fungi and nematodes evenly at the percent of4%. The number of intercepted pests is increasing annually. Detailed morphological characters of pests were described in this paper.3. It was observed from pathogenic morphology that under the condition of Phenylalanine deaminase agar medium, the colony of Moniliniafructicolawashazel, with edges cracking. The dense spore heaeds up at the upper part of the colony, which was gray-yellow colored, uniformed and in clear concentric pattern, whereas, the back part of the colony was black-brown colored. The dense spore grew little from 0 to 3 days, and flourished after the third day under culturing condition of 23?. The average growth rate of pathogenic bacteria was nearly 9.2 mm per day.Strained conidiophore was single-celled, lucid, oval to lemon-shaped, and occupied 9-cm agar plate about 10 days. The strain DNA of Moniliniafructicola was PCR amplified by the primer ITS 1 and ITS 4,and in the electrophoresis in the 1.2% agarose gel. Specific fragment occurred at 550 bp, and still appeared after being purified and cloned.4. The morphologies of the egg, larva, pupa and imago of Leptinotarsadecemlineata were described in details, which gives implications of species identification.5. The morphologies of the larva and imago of Cydiapomonella were present here, with special emphasis on the anatomy of the external genitalia of the male, which offers standards of entry inspection.
