Poplar is the main planting tree species of farmland protection forest in Dengkou county, which important role in the improvement of the local agricultural ecological environment. It is directly related to the development of agriculture and economic and social development in Dengkou county. In recent years, the occurrence and damage of Poplar Pests have become more and more serious, which is a serious threat to the healthy growth of poplar and the construction of protective forest. Study on the occurrence and control of Poplar Longicorn pests investigation and fauna, find out Dengkou County for poplar pest fauna, effective prevention and treatment is very necessary. Through many years of investigation and study, the following results were obtained:1. The pest species of poplar in Dengkou county were investigated, and the insect fauna were analyzed. The results showed that the poplar pest in Dengkou county. There are 45 species, belonging to 6 orders, 27 families. In Lepidoptera, Coleoptera pest species. The majority of Lepidoptera consists of 11 families and 19 species, accounting for all the survey results 42.2%; Coleoptera 8 families 15 species, accounting for poplar pest species number 33.3%.2. The life history of Dengkou County Poplar Longicorn and occurrence investigation. The results of the study show that Poplar Longicorn 2 years in Dengkou county has one generation; its occurrence and poplar species, climate, there is a certain relationship between soil and management. Poplaris serious harm of Poplar Longicorn in Xinjiang, Yang harm is lighter. Climate drought and sand land on poplar and serious, in many years and the rainfall on the Loess Plateau of poplar were relatively light.3. The Poplar Longicorn control experiment. The results showed that 2% thiacloprid 2000 times liquid spray control of Poplar Longicorn is better than 3% cypermethrin and 15% imidacloprid 1000 times spray 2000 times liquid with good control effect.4. In the biological control test results of suspension of artificial nest to attract great spotted woodpecker controlling Poplar Longicorn show great spotted woodpecker for controlling Poplar Longicorn has obvious effect.
