Under the condition of field experiment, with mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii, mu shroom residue of ganoderma lucidum and EM bacteria were used as fertilizer, by planting corn and measuring its plant height, yield, quality and pH in soil, organic matter, soil availabl e nutrient content and soil enzyme activity, we researched the effects of different mushroom res idue and EM bacterial liquid on corn growth and physical and chemical characteristics of soil. The results show that:First, the mushroom residue of ganoderma lucidum with EM bacterial liquid can cause th e growth and development of corn, improve corn yield from 16.66% to 24.76%?Second, the combined application of mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii and EM ba cterial liquid make the graisse and protein contents of maize grain significantly increased by 3 5.9 and 18.9% respectively when compared with CK. At the same time, they also make th e alanine, cysteine and methionine contents of maize grain significantly increased by 30.6%,12 0% and 135% respectively when compared with CK.Third, the combined application of mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii and EM bact erial liquid together with the combined application of mushroom residue of ganoderma lucid um with EM bacterial liquid make the content of microelementCu in corn significantly improve d, compared with the CK, they increased by 30.1% and 31.7% respectively. The combined appl ication of mushroom residue of ganoderma lucidum with EM bacterial liquid make the content of microelement Fe in corn significantly improved to 13.9% compared with CK. The applica tion of mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii make the content of Ca in corn the highest. Co mpared with the CK, all treatments make the content of Zn in corn decreased. The application of mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii make the content of Mg in corn improve the most, an d compared with the CK, it improved 19.9%. The application of mushroom residue of ganode rma lucidum make the content of microelement B in corn improve the most, and compared wit h the CK, it improved 7.9%.Fourth, the combined application of mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii and EM bac terial liquid make the organic matter, alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen and available potassium con tent in soil were increased by 5.75 to 7.66 g/kg,5.4 to 12.05 mg/kg and 17.3 to 66.77 mg/kg res pectively and can obtain the best effect of inproving soil enzyme activity. Compared with CK, t he combined application of mushroom residue of pleurotus eryngii and EM bacterial liquid m ake the quantity of CEC improve to 41.2%, which shows that it can enhance the water and ferti lizer retention ability of soil. The mushroom residue of ganoderma lucidum with EM bacteri al liquid can increase the available phosphorus content of soil from 12.07 to 14.68 mg/kg.
