According to the field pulling measurement and laboratory detection analysis towards the carrots in harvest time,all these can be explored.Such as carrots' soil properties,its geometric characteristic,and the influence of different pulling conditions on the carrot pulling force.Through the analysis of carrots' geometric characteristic in harvest time by mathematical statistics,its average,distribution range and distribution frequency all can be concluded;Through the test and analysis to carrots' mechanical properties in harvest time by the a tensile test,its integration of rootstalk's tensile strength and pull out force can be concluded.Through the self-developed NC-type vegetable pulling out force measurement test,pulling out test and data gathering can be completed.And through analyzing the data and the drawing by the professional functions drawing software Origin Pro 2015,the change between the carrot pulling out force and the soil moisture content,soil hardness,the surface area and loading speed of carrot,the angle of pulling,and the loosen position can also be concluded.Through simulating the soil environment by the application of EDEM simulation software,the three model of carrot can be built.So that the pulling process can be stimulated,and the verification result is consistent with the measured data very well.The specific results are as follows:1)The total length of carrot plant is [679.10992.20] mm,the total length of root is [162.40271.10] mm,the maximum diameter of root is [32.70,56.30] mm,[12.70 18.10] mm for the minimum diameter of root,rhizome,with diameter of [12.50,32.00] mm,root surface area is [16809.1133055.34] mm2,the root volume was [96094.31300107.47] mm3,the root quality is [78.84286.49] g.2)The lower the soil moisture content,the greater the hardness and bulk density,the greater the force required to destroy the soil structure and the anchoring effect,and the shorter the time to complete the extraction process.3)The slight inclination angle is beneficial to loosen the soil around the carrot,reduce the anchoring effect of the soil on the carrot,the best at about 15 °;Too large pull angle has a negative effect on the extraction effect,the extraction angle from about 25 ° start,pull the force will increase with the extraction angle becomes more and more,carrot picking effect began to deteriorate.4)The effect of picking soil is very obvious.The greater the depth of the soil,the smaller the distance from the loose soil,the more obvious the effect of loose soil,pull the carrot required to pull the smaller pull.According to this analysis,the best position for dirt: Loosen distance is 10 to 15 cm,loosen depth is 15 to 20 cm.In this paper,we study the physical and mechanical properties of carrots and soil during harvest period,and provide theoretical support for determining the structure and working parameters of carrot harvesting device.
