Along with increasing faster urbanization process,people are also pursuing more aesthetic and ecological aspects but not only the basic function of the virescence of the overpass.As the city flower of Shenzhen city,Bougainvillea spectabilis is widely applied into the urban afforestation planning of Shenzhen city.In this paper,three varieties of Bougainvillea spectabilis were used as testing materials to study the influences of Bougainvillea spectabilis in different substrates,container types and soil drought.Specific content and results were as follows:(1)Selecting the substrate and the container.To study the influence of Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake' in different substrates and container types,the two-factor experiments with different ratios of matrix and container types were used.According the results,the substrates A2(the garden: peat: perlite: river sand=4:3:2:1)and A3(the garden: peat:perlite: river sand=2:4:3:1)were more satisfied with meeting the need on the growth of Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake'.And A3 was more promoting the growth of Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake'.The container B2 was better than B1 as a whole,especially in the respects of the vegetative growth of underground and the seedling root.There was indistinctively interaction between the substrates and the containers,thought A3B2 had a more obviously effect of the growth of Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake'.(2)Influences of soil drought on photosynthetic traits of Bougainvillea spectabilis.The 3breeds of Bougainvillea spectabilis were stressed by nature drought.During the stressed,the photosynthesis,RWC and proline content of the Bougainvillea spectabilis breeds were measured.The result shows: the photosynthetic traits and leaf relative water content were reducing gradually,meanwhile the content of proline increasing.Compared with another varieties,Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake' had a better drought resistance to be applied to the afforestation of overpass,and when it is applied in the overpass,there should be a reasonable choice according to the overpass condition.Consequently,it should be watered oncein 3 to 6 days to ensure Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake' grows well when it is applied to overpass afforestation,growing water demand should be watered 3 days once;Bougainvillea×spectoglabra and B.Spectoglabra ‘Ice Kriui' should be waterd once in 3 days,and when exuberant growth period water-intensive they can be waterd once or twice a day according to the environment and conditions.In conclusion,the garden soil: peat: perlite: river sand = 2:4:3:1 is the suitable cultivation matrix for Bougainvillea spectabilis overpass afforestation,while the container with glass fiberglass is suitable.And it should be watered once in 3 to 6 days to ensure Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Crimsonlake' grows well and B.×spectoglabra and B.Spectoglabra ‘Ice Kriui'should be waterd once in 3 days.The results of this study can provide the theoretical reference and the experimental basis for the application of Bougainvillea spectabilis in the construction of shenzhen city landscaping.
