In recent years,due to the improvement of people’s life quality,coupled with the occurrence of such problems as environmental pollution and vegetable pesticide residue,more and more people begin to pay close attention to family plant culture,which can solve the above problems.Compared with the existing family plant-cultivating facilities,this paper will introduce the emerging cultivation method,areoponics,which can promote the plant root growth potential and then the plant growth,and can also increase space utilization,into the family plant-cultivating facilities,in order to solve some problems of existing family plant-cultivating facilities.And we provide a series of optimization plans to improve the performance of.family plant-cultivating facilities.The main research contents and conclusions obtained are as follows:(1)In order to improve the space utilization ratio,ornamental value and operation convenience of the existing family plant-cultivating facilities,we put forward a set of aeroponics-based family plant-cultivating facilities,which can realized the mobilization and modularization of family plant-cultivating facilities.And the specific requirements for the design and selection of the components in the device were proposed.(2)In order to conduct an experiment of spraying frequency optimization for spray aerosol cultivation,the study designed and built an aeroponic-based family plant-cultivating facility,which include water bump,pipeline and 9 plant cultivation units.After testing,each unit of the platform could work properly and meet the experiment requirements.(3)The spraying frequency value will not only have a significant effect on plant growth,but also affect the current pump life and energy use.And the current research in the cultivation of spraying frequency is relatively scarce.The study designed a dynamical system drived by one pump,which consists of 9 relative independent planting units.Each planting units have a electro-magnetic valve which can setup spraying frequency independently to operate spraying frequency optimization experiments.The result shows that this device is capable of conducting spraying frequency optimization experiments.(4)When doing data analysis of spraying frequency optimization experiments using SPSS,R and MATLAB,the study found that each group of mass growth data of lettuce shows different skewness of the distribution.It offers the guide for the selection of data analysis method.Meanwhile,the study developed an experiment of the single-factor design with multiple levels(fixed spray time for setting different interval time),to seek the optimal spraying frequency for lettuce growth in this device.,and also to explore the relationship between spraying frequency and the change of plant growth distribution through data analysis.The results shows that,with the increasing spacing interval within certain realms(fixed spraying time),the value of the total fresh weight and 3 sample percentiles of fresh weight,have almost the same main trend:increase firstly and then decrease.The most fitting curve is cubic curve.By the calculation comprehensively of the total fresh weight fitting curve and other eigenvalues,we find out that the optimal spacing interval value is about 120 minutes.
