Humanity has higher requirements for saying water,land,ecology and higher yield with the further development of technology and the further development of the economy and low-pressure pipeline irrigation technology has become important for agricultural development measures at the stage after the 21st century.In order to speed up the speed of the development,the most important is researching pipe and water distribution device,the current development of pipe has got generally attention,but the development of water distribution device is a weak link,and it seriously hinders the application of the technology,a new type of drain valve with simple,low head loss and good sealing is proposed.The paper uses the UG model and automatic grid tetrahedral unstructured grid,the model is calculated by using the CFD software FLUENT,the gas-liquid two-phase flow VOF model,standard turbulence model and SIMPLE algorithm.The three-dimensional numerical model was established according to the maximum flow condition of underdraught baffle valve,and several sets of flow conditions simulated by Flunet software were used to obtain the reliable conclusion of the calculation model.At the same time,the difference of velocity,flow and pressure of the same section under different flow rates is compared,and the possible reasons are analyzed.The three-dimensional numerical model was established for the new low-pressure irrigation water ball valve.Flux simulation was used to analyze the flow regime,head loss and overcurrent capacity of the valve under different working conditions and different working conditions.The optimum working degree of the ball valve was obtained from 0° to 25°.At the same time,the head loss,pressure are used to simulate under the same overcurrent flow,the ball valve fully open condition and the underdraught baffle valve fully open condition,find more advantages of the water ball than the underdraught baffle valve in the aspect of the work environment adaptability,sealing performance,over-current and the capacity of reducing the head loss.The conclusion of this article can be used to analyze the flow in the valve body and flow resistance from structure of the valve body,which can provide a reference to optimize valve body further for reducing the flow resistance.
