The experiment was set in Shenyang Agricultural University test field in 2016.The soil type was sandy soils.The test material Nonghua 5,Nonghua11 Huayu20,Huayu22,Tiehua9,Tangyou4,Fuhual2 and Baisha1016 were high-yield varieties in Liaoning Province.To investigate the proper calcium applying amount and the effects on physiological characteristics and yield,three treatments of 0,75 and 150 kg/hm2 were set with general chemical fertilizer under field condition.1.Different Ca application amounts are significantly affected on main stem height,branch length,leaf area and roots.The experiment shows that the main stem height and branch length are shortened with the Ca application.From seedling stage to fulling stage,the main stem height of Nonghuall,Huayu20,Huayu22,Tiehua9,Tangyou4,which with Ca application amounts at 150kg/hm2and 75kg/hm2 are higher than without chemical fertilizer.Effect of Ca application amounts at 150kg/hm2 is remarkable.Different Ca application amounts have litter effects on the branch numbers of peanut.Leaves are raised with the Ca application.At podding stage,the leaves with Ca application amounts at 150kg/hm2and 75kg/hm2 are higher than without chemical fertilizer,except Fuhual2.The root length and the root surf area are raised with the Ca application.Different Ca application amounts have litter effects on the root volume and root average diameter.Increasing calcium fertilizer significantly increased the accumulation of dry matter of peanut,which benefits the formation of production.2.Different Ca application amounts are significantly affected on physiological characteristics.The test shows the SPAD value is raised with the Ca application.At podding stage,the SPAD of Nonghua11,Huayu20,Tiehua9,Tangyou4 and Fuhua 12,which with Ca application amounts at 150kg/hm2 are higher than without chemical fertilizer.At fulling stage,the SPAD of Nonghua5,Nonghua11 Huayu22,Tiehua9,Tangyou4 and Baisha 1016,which with Ca application amounts at 150kg/hm2 are higher than without chemical fertilizer.The leaves' intercellular carbon dioxide concentration and stomata conductance are raised with the Ca application.Different Ca application amounts have litter effects on the transpiration rate.This shows that Ca application can increase photosynthetic efficiency.The results also show that,the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxides(POD)increased but the malondialdeyde(MDA)content decreased with the Ca application.3.Different Ca application amounts are significantly affected on the content of nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium and calcium.The test shows that increasing calcium fertilizer promoted the peanuts on the absorption of nitrogen increased the nitrogen content in peanut pods,which increased the protein content of peanut pods,increased the production.Increasing calcium fertilizer also promoted the root to the absorption of phosphorus,increase the content of phosphorus in root,to promote the growth of root system.Increasing calcium fertilizer can improve the content of potassium in peanut at podding stage.The distribution of calcium in the plant is leaf>stem>root>pods.The content of calcium in stem,root and legumes from podding stage to fulling stage both has an increasing tendency.Increasing calcium fertilizer significantly increased the content of calcium in different organs.The content of calcium for Nonghua 5,Huayu22 and Baisha 1016 with Ca application amounts are higher than without chemical fertilizer.And also it is significantly that Nonghua 5 and Huayu 22 with Ca application amounts at 75kg/hm2.4.Different Ca application amounts are significantly affected on yield formation and yield.The test shows that100-pod weight and the pod numbers are raised with the Ca application on the basis of the routine use of diammonium phosphate and potassium sulfate.The 100-kernel with Ca application amounts are higher than without chemical fertilizer and also get the best at 75kg/hm2.The percent of plump,the pod weight per plant and yield are raised with the Ca application,The percent of plump which Nonghua 5,Nonghua11,Huayu20,Huayu22,Tiehua9,Tangyou4 and Fuhual2 get the best with Ca application amounts at 75kg/hm2,and also the yield of Nonghua11,Huayu20,Huayu22,Tangyou4,Fuhual2 and Baisha 1016 get the best.Baisha1016 and Huayu20 get the biggest increases.Nonghua 5 and Tiehua9 get the best with Ca application amounts at 150kg/hm2.
