Two different tree shapes including trunk and open center of "Qinwang" peach were used as materials.The effects of different tree shapes on photosynthetic characteristics,fruit quality and yield,mineral nutrient elements and hormone contents of various organs and the distribution of photosynthetic products were studied.By analyzing the comprehensive evaluation of the above indexes of two shapes peach,we aim to choose a more suitable tree shapes with high quality in peach production.The results demonstrated that:1.There were significant differences in crown-width,plant height and the number of branch between open center and trunk shape peach.The crown-width of the open center shape peach was significantly larger than that of the trunk peach,while the plant height of the trunk peach was significantly larger than that of the open center shape peach.The number of annual branches of trunk shape peach per mu is significantly higher than that of open center shape peach.However were no significant difference in the trunk diameter and length of branch between open center and trunk shape peach.2.There were no significant differences in annual variation of photosynthesis rate and diurnal variation of photosynthetic rate between open center and trunk shapes peach.The annual variation of photosynthetic rate of the upper and middle leaves of two tree shapes peach showed a gradual increase in the period from June to September.In terms of photosynthesis of diurnal changes of different levels of peach,it was the maximal peak in 11:00 o'clock,and lowest in 13:00 o'clock.Photosynthetic rate of both open center and trunk shapes from the same tested time was listed as follows:Photosynthetic rate of leaves in the upper level>Photosynthetic rate of leaves in the middle level>Photosynthetic rate of leaves under the lower level.There were no significant differences in chlorophyll a?chlorophyll b and carotenoids content between open center and trunk shapes peach.As for specific leaf weight,the trunk shape peach was significantly higher than open center shape peach in middle level.Additionally,the specific leaf weight was higher in September when compared with August.3.In terms of the fruit quality,the fruit weight of the open center shape peach was significantly higher than that of the trunk shape peach,and the firmness of the trunk peach was significantly higher than that of the open center shape peach in upper level.There is no significant difference in fruit index,color index,soluble solids and titratable acidity of the two tree shape's peach in the same level.The yield of one open center shape peach is 3.58 times than that of the trunk shape peach,while the yield per mu of the trunk shape peach is 1.69 times than that of the open center shape peach.4.In July,the contents of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in the same organ and the same level of different shape peach tree were different.In general,the contents of N,P and K of trunk shape peach is higher than that of open center shape peach in the fruit of the same level.The contents of P and K of open center shape peach is higher than those of trunk shape peach in the leaves and annual branch of the same level.5.In general,the content of IAA and GA3 in fruit of trunk shape peach is higher than that in fruit of open center shape peach.There was no significant difference of ZR content of fruit from two tree shape peach.The content of ABA in fruit of trunk shape peach is lower than that in fruit of open center shape peach.The content of IAA,GA3,ZR and ABA in leaves of trunk shape peach leaves is lower than that in leaves of open center shape peach.The content of IAA in annual branch of trunk shape peach is lower than that in annual branch of open center shape peach.6.In the fruit enlargement period,the 13C distribution rate of the two shapes of tree organs showed that fruits shared the most distribution,followed by the leaves,the least in the branches and the few in the roots.The 13C distribution rates of the labeled fruits of open center shape' peach was significantly higher than trunk shape's peach.While the 13C distribution rate of the whole fruit and The 13C assimilate output of leaves of open center shape'peach was significantly lower than trunk shape's peach,is 55.71%?73.07%and 74.92%?80.79%,respectively.
