Facilities watermelon as important economic crops in the horticultural crops,the planting area has been expanding,and the farmers have made a large amount of waste of water resources,in order to pursue the output and to irrigate the watermelon blindly.In order to solve the irrigation problem of watermelon and improve the utilization rate of irrigation water,in this paper,the watermelon intelligent irrigation system was studied,the main contents are as follows:(1)Selection of communication mode and irrigation strategy for intelligent irrigation system.This paper analyzed the coverage area,transmission rate,power consumption,cost and other characteristics of several common wireless communication,and finally determines the communication mode of ZigBee for intelligent irrigation system.By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of fuzzy control and traditional irrigation methods,the final choice of fuzzy control decision scheme intelligent irrigation system.(2)The monitoring of environmental parameters.This paper analyzes the characteristics of water demand,substrate humidity and air relative humidity are the important environmental factors that affect the water requirement of watermelon,chose JZH-004 to collect substrate humidity,JZH-021 to collect air relative humidity,KL-H1100 to be a coordinator,together to complete the monitoring of environmental parameters watermelon.(3)Analysis and determination of irrigation strategies.Considering the effects of different growth stages,substrate humidity and air relative humidity on the water requirement of watermelon,a two level inference mechanism was designed.In the first-level,the watermelon planting time was taken as input,and the optimal substrate humidity was determined by the look-up table method.In the second-level,the difference between the current substrate humidity and the optimal substrate humidity,the substrate humidity collected in this period and the substrate humidity collected in the last period were taken as input variables,and the irrigation time as the output variable.According to the expert knowledge,the fuzzy control rule base is established,and the irrigation time is introduced by fuzzy logic reasoning.Finally,according to the current air relative humidity to judge whether is suitable for irrigation.(4)The upper computer monitoring software.The upper computer software used Visual Studio 2012 as the development environment,C# as the programming language.The upper computer transmits the information through the Modbus TCP protocol and the coordinator,and the upper computer software converts the data uploaded by the coordinator into the data interface that can be displayed.Designed of intelligent irrigation and manual irrigation Two Irrigation,the user can choose according to demand.The historical data query interface was compiled,and the user can query,analyze and manage the historical data according to the requirement.The database was designed,which can store the environmental factors,such as the environment information,and provide the data base for the query of historical data.The intelligent irrigation reasoning interface was compiled,and the irrigation time could be inferred according to the time of planting,the humidity of the substrate and the relative humidity of air.In order to verify the impact of intelligent irrigation system on watermelon,in Huazhong Agricultural University National Vegetable Improvement Center Huazhong Vegetable Center Greenhouse experiment.The experimental results show that the moisture of the irrigation system can be kept in the range of the humidity of the watermelon which is suitable for the growth of watermelon,and the deviation of the substrate humidity and the best substrate humidity is about 2%.Compared with artificial irrigation,the intelligent irrigation improved utilization of irrigation water and fruit quality,increase the watermelon production.
