Study On Matrix Ratio Of Containerized Seedling For Five Landscape Trees

As an advanced technology,containerized seedling breeding has been widely used in many countries all over the world.The matrix is one of the key factors to cultivate containerized seedling,which directly affects the growth and development of containerized seedling.Nursery substrate should not only meet the needs of the growth of seedlings,but also consider the selection of the nearest neighbor and environmental protection principles.After the treatment of agricultural and forestry waste,not only can be used as a substrate to avoid the waste of resources and environmental pollution.In this paper,Osmanthus fragrans,Camellia japonica,Lagerstroemia indica,Farxinus hupehensis and Ginkgo biloba as the test material.These five kinds of tree species have high ornamental value and are the excellent tree species for landscaping.Using different proportion of agricultural and forestry waste processing fertilizer,perlite and garden soil as the substrate.Based on the analysis of physical and chemical properties of different substrates,the effects of different substrates on the sweet scented osmanthus,camellia,Lagerstroemia indica,ash and ginkgo containerized seedling were studied.The growth and physiological characteristics of the containerized seedling were analyzed,and the proportion of light,easy to obtain and economic and environmental protection was selected.Results show:(1)Matrix bulk density,total porosity,capillary porosity,aeration porosity,water-holding porosity,pH value and EC value were measured and analyzed.The matrix C1 was 50% of garden soil and fertilizer of 50%,and its physical properties were significantly different.The pH value 7.03,EC value 1.53 ms·cm-1 is more suitable for plant growth.The matrix C3 was soil 43%,fertilizer 43%,perlite14%,and its physical properties were significantly different.The pH value 7.12,EC value 1.15 ms·cm-1 is more suitable for plant growth;(2)Analysis of Camellia japonica biennial containerized seedling height,diameter,ratio of height to diameter,chlorophyll content,soluble protein content,soluble sugar content and root activity were determined and found,C1 and C3 on the morphological and physiological characteristics of container seedling growth index was significantly higher than that of the C2 substrate and the control of container seedling.The C3 matrix is more suitable for the recommended ratio 43% garden soil,43% fertilizer,14% perlite,and followed by C1 matrix 50% garden soil,50% fertilizer;(3)Analysis of Osmanthus fragrans,Lagerstroemia indica and Ginkgo biloba biennial containerized seedling height,ground diameter,ratio of height to diameter,chlorophyll content,soluble protein content,soluble sugar content and root activity were determined and found,the growth and physiological characteristics of C3 container seedlings were significantly higher than those of C1,C2 and C3 matrix is more suitable for the ratio of matrix,garden soil 43%,fertilizer 43%,14% perlite;(4)Analysis of Farxinus hupehensis biennial containerized seedling height,ground diameter,ratio of height to diameter,chlorophyll content,soluble protein content,soluble sugar content and root activity were determined and found that the control group growth morphology and physiological characteristics of the most significant index.Or consider reducing the proportion of perlite,changing containerized seedling seedling specifications for further discussion;(5)The study on the seedling raising cost of containerized seedling showed that,compared with the common seedling,the container seedling needs the investment of the matrix and the container,but its growth condition,seedling quality and landscape effect are far more than the seedling.
