vermicompost is a new type of organic compost,which can improve soil quality and promote plant growth.Probiotics can activate soil nutrient and improve soil micro-eclogical environment.The effects of the application of vermicompost mixed with two different functional probiotics Bacillus amyloliquefaciens X and Fluorescent pseudomonas Y to the growth quality and soil properties of watermelon or eggplant were studied on the same nutrient levels.The main results were as follows:The results of growth and quality of watermelon or eggplant showed that whether mixed with probiotics or not,vennicompost and conventional compost could improve their growth and fruit quality,especially with the coporation of vermicompost.In terms of growth of watermelon,compared with conventional compost,vermicompost could improve the watermelon main vine length and stem diameter,increase the watermelon longitudinal diameter,transverse diameter and yield.In the pespect of quality of watermelon,compared with conventional compost,vermicompost could increase the content of soluble solids,soluble sugar,soluble protein,vitamin C significantly,and the vitamin C content was 15.9%higher than conventional compost.The application of probiotics improved the growth and photosynthesis rate of watermelon,reduce the incidence of watermelon plants fusarium wilt and increase the watermelon quality in different degrees,especially with the coporation of vermicompost.Compared with conventional compost mixed with probiotics,vermicompost could increase the main vine length,stem diameter,longitudinal diameter,nutrient content and yield of watermelon.As for plant stem diameter and watermelon yield,the application of vermicompost mixed with Bacillus amyloliquefaciens X was 8.3%and 9.9%higher than conventional compost.In the fusarium wilt of watermelon plants,the application of vermicompost mixed with Fluorescent pseudomonas Y was 36.3%lower than conventional compost.For the watermelon quality,vermicompost improved the quality of watermelon whether or not to add probiotics.The treatment of vermicompost mixed with probiotics was more obvious in increasing the content of soluble solids,soluble sugar,soluble protein and vitamin C,and the content of soluble protein of vermicompost mixed with probiotics XY was 14.3%higher than conventional compost mixed with probiotics XY.In terms of eggplant growth and quality,the regulation of experiment treatment were consistent with watermelon,compared with conventional compost,vennicompost improved the eggplant growth and quality whether or not mixed with probiotics,and the eggplant transverse diameter and yield of VCXY was 9.8%and 14.9%high than CDXY.As for the eggplant vitamin C content,the treatment of VCX was 26.7%high than CDX.The results of soil nutrient and microbial properties showed that vermicompost and conventional compost could improve the content of soil nutrient and microbial activity whether or not to add probiotic,especially with the coporation of vermicompost.As for watermelon soil nutrient,compared with conventional compost,vermicompost could improve the watermelon soil contents of NO3-,available P,available K and microbial biomass carbon significantly.In terms of watermelon soil microbial property,compared with conventional compost,vermicompost could improve the watermelon soil microbial number and enzyme activity,and the soil acid phosphatase and invertase activity increased significantly.The addition of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens X and Fluorescent pseudomonas Y increased watermelon soil nutrient and microbial activity,especially with the coporation of vermicompost.Bacillus amyloliquefaciens X and Fluorescent pseudomonas Y increased soil available K and available P significantly,compared with conventional compost mixed with probiotics,the effects of the treatment of vermicompost mixed with probiotics was more obvious,whereas watermelon soil available P content of VCX was 10.8%higher than CDX.The application of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens X and Fluorescent pseudomonas Y increased the number of watermelon soil probiotics,especially with the coporation of vermicompost.Compared with the treatment of conventional compost mixed with probiotics,vermicompost improved the watermelon soil properties in different degrees,and the soil microbial biomass carbon and microbial biomass nitrogen of VCXY was 17.2%and 13.1%higher than CDXY,whereas the soil bacterial number and invertase activity of CDXY was 33.0%and 14.4%higher than CDXY.In the respect of eggplant soil nutrient and microbial property,the regulation of experiment treatment were consistent with watermelon,whether or not mixed with probiotics,compared with conventional compost,vermicompost could improve the eggplant soil nutrient and microbial activity,and the eggplant soil Bacillus amyloliquefaciens X number of the treatment of VCX was 56.9%higher than CDX,the eggplant soil acid phosphatase of VCY was 21.3%higher than CDY,whereas the eggplant soil invertase activity of VCXY was 28.8%higher than CDXY.Compared with organic compost mixed with single probiotics,the application of organic compost mixed with probiotics XY could improve the photosynthesis rate of watermelon plants,especially in the photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate.Meanwhile,there was no significant difference between the addition of single probiotics and probiotics XY on plant growth and soil properties.Variance analysis showed that there were significant interactions between organic compost and probiotics on the plant main vine length,longitudinal diameter,yield,watermelon soluble solids,soluble sugar,soluble protein,vitamin C,soil available P,available K,microbial biomass carbon,bacterial number,fungal number,invertase activity,watermelon soil urease activity and eggplant soil acid phosphatase.Specifically,compared with other factors,the effect of probiotics on the plant photosynthesis rate,soil available nutrients and microbial number was more significant.In terms of fruit quality and soil enzyme activity,the effect of organic compost was more obvious than other factors.These results indicated that the vermicompost mixed with probiotics had significant effect on the improvement of watermelon or eggplant growth and soil properties,which can be the good choice of the replacement of chemical fertilizers for protected vegetable green production and soil fertilities improvement.
