Clinical Application Of The Compound Butafosfan In Swine Production

Compound butafosfan is a metabolic stimulant,immune potentiator and anti-stress organicagent.It was used mainly for animal metabolic disorders caused by malnutrition or faulty husbandry;developmental and nutrional disorders in young animals resulting from diseases during the growing period;metaphylaxis of sterility and puerperal diseases and also as supportive treatment for sterility,casesitic infeststion or bacterial disease;and as an effective tonic and energy metabolic stimulant in of over-exertion and exhaustion.The main component of compound butafosfan has been synthesized successfully.We have studied on butafosfan solution in this research.(1)Effects of compound butafosfan solution on the performance of piglets in breast-feeding.Total 20 piglets in breast-feeding were selected and divided into 2 groups.And they were injected whit saline and compound at dose of 1ml per piglet at 7 days and 14 days old,respectively.All the piglets were feeeding according to the common practice and were breast-feeding.The experimental results showed that the piglets in experimental group were significantly increased in the amount of food and better in the colour of body after weaning.The average weight of piglets in experimental group were higher than that in the control group by 0.5kg for commmon piglets.The average getting weight of piglets in experimental group were higher than that in the control group by 0.41kg per head.Between the 7-21 days old the results showed the compound butafosfan solution could improve the growth of the piglets in breast-feeding,especially in the later period.(2)Effects of compound butafosfan solution on the performance of weaned pigs.Total 216 weaned pigs were selected and divided into 2 groups of control and experiment.And they were injected with saline and compound at the dose of 2ml at the days of weaning each with 108 piglets.The experimental results showed that the piglets in the experimental group were significantly friendly,and had less fight and less injured compared with those in the control group.The pigs in experimental group were growe faster than those in control group.It indicated the compound butafosfan solution could decrease stress and improve growth performance.(3)Effects of compound butafosfan solution on the performance of sow.Total 50 sows were selected and divided into 2 groups of control and experiment each with 25.And they were injected with saline and compound at the dose of 10ml before delivering.The experimental results showed that the temperatures of the sows of experimental group were lower than those in the control by 0.4?.The time of farrowing of sows was shorter than that in the control group by 23min.The time of the afterbirth came out is shorter that in the control group by 43min.The time between weaning and estus in experimental sows was shorter than that in control group by 1.5 days.And the rate of MMs in experiment group sows was significantly reduced compared with that in the control group.(4)Effects of compound butafosfan solution on the performance of small and weak piglets.Total 36 small and weak piglets were selected and divided into 2 groups of control and experiment.The experimental group were injected with compound at the dose of 2ml,and 5 days later they were injected with compound at the dose of 2ml again.The control group were injected with Cefotaxime Sodium for Injection at the dose of 300mg every day for 3 days.And another 18 healthy piglets were the normal group and were not injected with anything.The average weight of piglets in experiment were higher that in control by 0.043kg.And the feed conversion ratio in experimental group is lower than that in the control by 0.23.The average weight in experiment were less than that in normal group by 0.126kg.And the feed conversion ratio in experimental group is higher than that in the normal group by 0.23.The average weight of piglets in control were less than that in normal group by 0.169kg.And the feed conversion ratio in control group is higher than that in normal group by 0.46.It indicated compound butafosfan solution has some treatment effect.
