Design And Management Of Biosecurity System In Pig Farm

With the development of large scale and intensive pig industry,disease outbreaks become a serious problem of pig industry development,which is the important factors of"hog cycle" and food safety.In order to reduce the economic loss of diseases and to ensure food safety,reasonable system design and management of biosecurity for pig industry must be paid attention to.Combined with field experiences,reasonable system design and management of biosecurity were proposed to provide some basis for pig industry practitioners.This study started with biosecurity system projects of pig farm,further explained how to ensure biosecurity construction and to ensure pig healthy breeding.This research was devided into two parts as follow:1 Construction of biosecurity system for pig farmEfficient breeding is based on good projects.Construction of biosecurity system is at the core of pig industry.Combined with some scientific and reasonable biosecurity system of native pig farm,this research aimed to provide some references for newly-built pig farm from aspects of pig farm sitting,layout,disinfection and epidemic design.2 Management of biosecurity for pig farmWhen the design and layout of pig farms were fixed,the biosecurity system mainly depends on the management of managers.This research focus on Jiangsu Donghai farm,combined with farm's performance and economic effectiveness,disinfection,management of personnel,vehicles and goods entering and leaving,management of fodder,animal epidemic disease control,introduction,animal waste and dead pig were studied.These aim to provide some reference basis of theory and practice for pig industry workers.
