Investigation And Evaluation Of The Wild Ornamental Plants Resources And Flora Of Mount Baxiang In Fengshun Coungty Guangdong Province

Baxiang Mountain is located in the middle of Lotus Hill,it pregnants with lush wild ornamental plants and maintain a rich diversity of species due to its unique natural and geographical conditions.Based on investigation and identified specimens and carry out previous studies to analysis the flora and vegetation in Baxiang Mountain.The application principle of wild ornamental plants and the protection of wild plants were put forward,after analyzing the ornamental value,rare and endangered and medicinal value of wild plants and evaluating the ornamental plants by AHP.Main results are as follows:(1)Through a comprehensive survey in Baxiang Mountain,967 kinds of wild plants(including subspecies,varieties,forms)were identified and screened,belonging to 138 family 472 genera,including 103 kinds of ferns in 27 families and 49 genera,10 kinds of gymnosperms in 6 families 7 genera,and 853 kinds of angiosperms in 132 families and 465 genera.(2)After investigation and a statistical analysis,it is indicated that the dominant families of ferns were Polypodiaceae,Athyriaceae,Dryopteridaceae,Aspleniaceae,Thelypteridaceae;dominant genera of ferns is Pteris,Dryopteris.The dominant family of angiosperms was Poaceae,Leguminosae,Compositae,Rubiaceae,Rosaceae,Theaceae,Cyperaceae,Euphorbiaceae,Fagaceae,Lauraceae,Moraceae,Myrsinaceae;the dominant genera of angiospermsis Ficus,Eurya,Rubus,Ilex,Ardisia,Callicarpa,Dioscorea,Rhododendron,Blumea,Lithocarpus,Castanopsis,etc.Single species family have 43 families.In addition,there are 43 families with single species.(3)In term of the geographical distribution types,of all the seed plants,tropical and subtropical components are the main distribution emements of Baxiang Mountain,and the temperate distribution is a second distribution emements of the total.Tropical and subtropical distribution is dominated by tropic tropic,with strong tropical properties and temperate properties also play an important role.(4)There are 24 species of rare and endangered plants protected by law in China,based on the field investigation and IUCN's Evaluation standard.According to the number and value of local plants,it was proposed that 30 species should be listed as municipal protection as rare and endangered species,such as Michelia skinneriana,Aristolochia championii,Polygala fallax,Homalium cochinchinense,etc.(5)There are 574 species medicinal plants,belonging to 141 families and 393 genera.According to analysis medicinal parts and efficacy,the medicinal plants are divided into 11 types.Including whole herbal medicinal plants 259 species,leaf medicinal plants 120 species,rhizome medicinal plants 211 species,stem medicinal plants 43 species,bark medicinal plants 13 species,flower medicinal plants 12 species,friut madicinal plants 44 species,seed medicinal plants 13 species,spore medicinal plants 4 species,resin Medicinal plants 2 species.(6)There were 143 species of arbor,88 species of shrub,249 species of herbs,110 species of Vines.The wild ornamental plants in Baixiang Mountain was analyzed,110 species of Vines.According to the life form,the ornamental plants in Baxiang mountain were divided into 5 types of Ornamental ferns(22 families 40 genera and 70 species),ornamental bamboo(1 familly 3 genera and 4 species),wild ornamental vines(35 families 92 genera and 112 species),wild ornamental woody plants(55 families 135 genera and 231 species),wild ornamental herbs(40 subjects 116 Is 159 species).(7)A total of 90 herbal ornamental resources,116 wild ornamental trees and 80 wild ornamental vines were selected and the order of resource development was determined.The results showed that the wild ornamental plants were evaluated by the evaluation system of wild ornamental plants.It is recommended that 20 species of trees,20 vines and 20 herbs should be given priority as oramental plants.(8)According to analysis the use of wild ornamental plants.There were divided into landscaped trees,street trees,shade trees,landscapes,vines,ground cover plants,flower beds flower plants,hedge plants,bonsai plants.(9)Based on the analysis of the status of wild plant resources in Baxiang Mountain,the principles of wild ornamental plant development and utilization and the suggestions for protection of wild plant resources were put forward.
