The Preliminary Research Of Persimmon Grafting Affinity

The study,5 persimmon varieties widely applied in the production were used as research materials,including Youhou,Fuyu,Taishuu,Ganshu and Sosho Our study consists of three parts,including the research of persimmon graft compatibility,using interstocks to improve persimmon grafting compatibility and the effect of different length of interstocks on dwarfing.Comprehensive evaluation of graft compatibility was performed based on the field investigation and the determination of the content of soluble sugar,soluble protein and three endogenous hormones and the activity of polyphenol oxidase(PPO)and peroxidase(POQ).The main results were shown as follows.1.Graft compatibility of persimmons grafted onto different rootstockswe chose Fuyu?Soshu?Taishuu and Ganshu as scions,which were grafted onto A.hui date plum,S.dong date plumand and Xiaoguotianshi separately.Based on the analysis of the field growth and physiological indexes,the results are as follows.There was high affinity between Soshu and every rootstock of 3 species,with S.dong date plumand the best and Xiaoguotianshi the second.The affinity between Fuyou and 3 rootstocks were ranked,the sequence was S.dong date plumand,A.hui date plum and Xiaoguotianshi from good to bad.For Ganshu,the sequence was Xiaoguotianshi,S.dong date plumand and A.hui date plum from good to bad.For Taishuu,the sequence wasA.hui date plumand,S.dong date plum and Xiaoguotianshi from good to bad.2.Graft compatibility of persimmons grafted onto different interstocksWe chose Nantongxiaofangshi and Haha Gosho as interstocks,A.hui date plum and S.dong date plum as rootstocks and Soshu and Fuyu as scions.Based on the analysis of the field growth and physiological indexes,the results are as follows.Nantongxiaofangshi had no improving effects on the graft compatibility of Fuyu grafted onto A.hui date plum and S.dong date plum.Haha Gosho could improve the graft compatibility of Fuyu grafted onto A.hui date plum,but the effect is not obvious.Both Haha Gosho and Nantongxiaofangshi had certain improvement effect on the graft compatibility of Soshu grafted onto A.hui date plum,and the former is better than the later.Meanwhile,Haha Gosho could improve could improve the graft compatibility of Soshu grafted onto S.dong date plum,but Nantongxiaofangshi couldn t.3.We chose Nantongxiaofangshi and Dafangshi as interstocks,A.hui date plum and S.dong date plum as rootstocks and Youhou as scions.Results are as follows.The variance analysis indicated that Dafangshi as interstocks with different length had no obvious effect on the new shoot length of Youhou.But Nantongxiaofangshi as interstocks with different length had a great effect on the new shoot length of Youhou.With different length Nantongxiaofangshi as interstocks,the new shoot length of grafted plants was positive correlation with the content of IAA and GA1+3,and the correlation coefficient were 0.898 and 0.667,separately.But the new shoot length of grafted plants was negative correlation with ABA and POD,and the correlation coefficient were-0.516 and-0.359.Comprehensive analysis of peroxidase(POD)activity and hormone content,we come to a conclusion that there existed the better dwarf effect with Nantongxiaofangshi as the interstock that is 25 cm in length.
