Study On The Application Of Ornamental Grass In Xi'an Urban Landscape

While the strong growth of economic development,the urban ecological environment was disrupted in a certain extent,and the living environment does lack some uniqueness.In this situation,ornamental grass has drawn more and more attention as a new plant material.Ornamental grass has exuberant vitality,whether it is in arid zones,cold areas,or alkaline soils,and could resist to diseases and pest insects.Compared to other plants,its adaptability to the environment is very strong and need less maintenance.Ornamental grass also has luxuriant leaf color and beautiful inflorescence,which could create special scene and have broad application.However,the current domestic scholars rarely researched ornamental grass in the application of urban landscape,especially the study of ornamental grass in northeastern area is almost nothing.The article studied ornamental grass in the application of urban landscape and its resource in Xi'an to expand the further application of ornamental grass in urban landscape.After reviewing a large number of articles to clear the background of this topic and elaborate the research significance of this research,the author defined the concept of ornamental grass and differentiate its characteristics as ornament and ecologic,then classified ornamental grass with its characteristics to analyze the application value.After clarifying the concept of ornamental grass,its characteristics and value,the author described the allocation principle of ornamental grass in urban landscape with details for the practical case,concluded the different type of urban landscape application and analyzed the function and effect of ornamental grass with classical case in urban park,living area,road and backyard.At last,the author investigated theresource of ornamental grass in Xi'an on the basis of theoretical research and analyzed current situation and problems to provide reference for further research.
