With the popularization and rapid development of precision agriculture,enhancing collection and management of soil information by new technologies plays an important role in futher soil management and agricultural research.It is of great importance to study on soil sampler with small volume,portability,low cost and easy operation characteristics and efficient soil information management system with information technology.In this paper,based on the research of embedded technology,QR code technology and location technology,after analyzing the requirement of soil sampler and soil information management system,the soil sampler and soil information management system were designed.Soil sampler is mainly composed of ARM processor,GPS positioning system,sensor interface,TFTLCD color LCD module,micro printer and other hardware components.GPS positioning system is used to collect soil geographic location information.ARM processor is used to generate position and sensor information into QR code.QR code label is printed by micro printer.The soil information is transmitted to the soil information management system by scanning the QR code with mobile phone through wireless network.Entering,appending and modifying of soil information,positioning of soil sample in the map and data reporting are realized in soil information management system.The soil sampler is realized with ARM processor,ATK-NEO-6M GPS module,ATK-2.8 LCD module and HCT548A micro printer.Mobile client of the system is developed with Eclipse under Android OS.The soil information management system is developed with Visual Studio 2013 by C#language.Through the experimental test,the soil sampler can generate the sampling time,position,temperature and humidity of the soil sample into QR code and print them out.QR code information is sent to the soil information management system by scanning it with mobile phone.The soil information management system achieve the functions of input,query,modify and delete of soil information and can display the map of soil sampling according to the demand of users.
