The experiment selected Orah(P.trifoliate×C.sinensis)with 1 year old and Trovita sweet orange(Citrus sinensis(L.)Osbeck)which planted 2006 in field as the experimental material.Using the application of different amount and application method of citrus peel organic fertilizer(CPOF)to systematically study the effects on growth and development,nutrition,chlorophyll fluorescence kinetics and fruit quality and yield of citrus.The main results are as follows:(1)The results of the growth of Orah showed that: application of CPOF on promoting the growth of Orah was better than Compound fertilizer(CF).The CPOF(500g)or combination CPOF(250g)and CF(100g)can better meet the growth of Orah.The results indicated that CPOF significantly increased plant height and trunk roughness and the number of branching of Orah.With the CPOF the chlorophyll content maintained in a good level and enhanced the absorption of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in root to supply the vigorous position(roots and leaves)of young trees.Meanwhile the CPOF remarkably raised the mass of the overground part and the underground part of Orah.(2)The results of field studies showed that the application of CPOF obviously increased the proportion of <0.5mm and reduced the proportion of 0.5mm~2mm and promoted the absorption of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in root.With the CPOF,the content of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium of leaf were increased in different phonological period.Especially in the period of fruit maturity the content of nitrogen and potassium of CPOF were higher than that of CF in leaves.Compared with CK,the Wk of the application of 11.3kg/plant for two times a year of CPOF was significantly decreased by 20.02% and improved the probability that a trapped exciton moves an electron into the electron transport chain beyond QA(?o)and the quantum yield for electron transfer(?Eo)were increased by 11.92% and 12.97% respectively.The electron transfer efficiency(Fm/Fo)of the application of 11.3kg of CPOF once in a year was significantly increased by 5.79%.Compared with CK,11.3kg of CPOF was applied twice in a year effectively enhanced the performance of PS? reaction center of Trovita leaves,whose PIabs and PIcs respectively increased by 42.54% and 42.28% compared with CK.However CF improved the performance of PS?,whose PItotal was 44.90% higher than that of CK.Compared with the CF,application of CPOF increased the content of potassium in fruits and the quality of fruit was improved.Compared with CK,fruit surface a/b value increased by 5.00%~25.88% and titratable acid(TA)decreased significantly by 24.31%~37.04% and the solid acid ratio increased significantly by 24.70%~61.38%.The fruit quality was better with the application of 11.3kg of CPOF for one time a year.In 2015,the average yield of Trovita with the application of CPOF increased by 46.14% and the economic benefit increased by 68.10% compared with CF.In 2016 the average yield of Trovita of the CPOF was 2271.49 kg,which the average economic benefit was 3955.60 yuan.(3)The results of soil physicochemical properties showed that the application of CPOF adjusted the pH value of soil and increased soil water content and soil bulk density decreased by 2.37% ~ 9.19% compared with CK.CF significantly improved the soil available nutrients,including available nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium so on,but it easily leaded to soil effective nutrient over citrus soil nutrients suitable range.But the content of organic matter,available nitrogen and available phosphorus were deficient under the application of CF in field soil.With the application of CPOF,soil organic matter content was up to 17.68g/kg on average and the content of soil available nitrogen,available phosphate and available potassium were 113.64mg/kg,17.60mg/kg and 149.34mg/kg in field experiment,which were in the suitable nutrient range of citrus orchard,increased respectively by 30.15%,40.00% and 30.36% compared with CK.Moreover the soil organic matter and available nitrogen and available phosphorus with the application of CPOF were also in the appropriate range in pot experiment.
