Using ABAQUS software,the paper establishes a module of the hydrodynamic characteristic of the diamond metal net under steady current.Through the calculation,the hydraulic resistance is analyzed according to the different material,shape,size and thread diameter of the metal net.A comparison study shows that the new module presents a reasonable hydrodynamic simulation of the metal net under hydraulic force.Currently,a large number of researches have been conducted on the fiber network type of the metal cage domestically and internationally.However,the study of hydraulic resistance properties of metal net under wave force is relatively rare.Comparing with the fiber net,the metal net is significantly different in term of mass,stiffness,surface roughness,and so on.Therefore the corresponding hydrodynamic characteristics are also different,which results in the hydrodynamic change of the entire cage box dramatically.There are limited studies of the methodologies,especially the mathematical simulation on this topic.Therefore,in order to understand the dynamic behavior of the entire metal cage box,it is greatly helpful to analyze its hydrodynamic characteristic of the metal net first.This paper successfully simulated the whole metal mesh dress in uniform flow water resistance properties,and by comparing with the physical model of the data to verify the reliability and superiority of the mathematical model.The concrete research content is briefly as follows:The first part is introduction,mainly introduces the thesis research background at home and abroad development situation and research progress of deep water area.The second part introduces the net clothing design of the physical model test.Considering the special requirements of the test conditions and net similar design,according to the current aquaculture engineering actual situation,the experiment with the prototype of metal net by comparing the two kinds of material,the metal net two mesh shape,three kinds of mesh,and three kinds of cable diameter.The third part introduces the principle of the numerical calculation method and its control equation.The continuity equation and momentum equation on paper are based on the law of conservation of mass.The fourth part introduces the results of numerical simulation and the contrast between the condition and the test results.It is known from the comparison that data error is small between the mathematical simulation with experimental values.The fitting degree is higher,showing that the method of square metal mesh water dynamic characteristics study based on ABAQUS is feasible.Finally to this article's main research results are summarized,at the same time the square metal net hydrodynamic research development was prospected.The aquaculture facilities engineering is increasingly applied to the deep sea and large-scale area in the 21 st century.The improved test and pilot application for the metal net cages promotion the research in China.Not only an innovative opportunity does it provide,but also avoid the potential risk factors for farming fishery.It is the development of the history and heritage of aquaculture technology.Hydrodynamic characteristics study of the metal net and the cages develop efficient Marine aquaculture based on environmental protection and ecological system.It provides the significant value to improve the Chinese Marine fishery in a long term.
