Abstract:Bowl lotus,evolved from Hualian,is a kind of mini varieties of lotus.In the experiment,the variety of bowl lotus 'Hong Xia' was chosen as the material.After studying the dynamic changes of exogenous hormones(IAA,GA3,6-BA)impacted by endogenous hormones in the blossom of bowl lotus and the influences of different hormone treatments on bowl lotus's flowering,growth and SOD,POD,PPO,CAT,MDA and other physiological activities.It was found that appropriate type and concentration of hormones can improve bowl lotus leaf growth,increase the amount of flowers,extend its flowering period so as to improve their ornamental value,which will provide more comprehensive theoretical basis for regulating the flowering period of lotus bowl.Through this experiment,the author drew the following conclusions.1.Growth and development:the treatment of 100mg/L 6-BA can increase the number of bowl lotus leaf,leaf area and plant height,while other treatments show different degrees of inhibition.The treatment of 150mg/L IAA has the best influences on flowering of bowl lotus,and the treatments of 50mg/L GA3 and 150mg/L 6-BA show less influences than that of 150mg/L IAA.The main expressions are to increase the number of its flowers and to prompt bowl lotus blossom ahead of time,while the treatment of 150 mg/L GA3 can delay the date of falling its flowers.2.Under the influences of different hormone treatments,the activity of SOD increased gradually and its peak appears ahead of time with hormone concentration increasing;the activity of PPO decreased with hormone concentration increasing,and it is lower than the control(CK),but the peak also appears ahead of time;each treatment has minor influences on the activity of POD,and their activities of POD are higher than that of the control(CK)from the 40th day,in which the treatments of 150mg/L IAA,50mg/L GA3 and 50mg/L 6-BA deal show the most obvious results;as to the activity of CAT,the treatments of 50mg/L IAA and 50mg/L 6-BA are lower than the control(CK),the changing trend is relatively flat,and other treatments are similar to the control(CK);the content of MDA was higher than that of the control(CK)from the 20th day in the treatment of 150mg/L IAA,while the MDA content of other treatments were lower than that of the control(CK)and their peak levels appeared later than that of the control(CK).3.Each hormone treatment has brought the changes of endogenous hormones of lotus bowl.Under IAA treatment,the content of Zr fluctuated around that of the control(CK)and its peak was delayed;in the treatment 50mg/L IAA,the content of IAA is similar to that of the control(CK),while the content of GA was significantly higher than that of the control(CK)and its peak appeared ahead of time;in the treatment of 100mg/L IAA,the contents of both IAA and GA declined and were lower than that of the control(CK);in the treatment of 150mg/L IAA,the contents of IAA and GA were lower than that of the control(CK)before the 60th day,then increased rapidly,and reached the peak on the 80th day which were significantly higher than that of the control(CK);in the gibberellin(GA3)treatment,the contents of IAA were lower than the control(CK),and the content of Zr decreased with the increasing of gibberellin(GA3)concentration;the contents of GA and Zr was significantly higher than that of the control(CK)in the treatment of 50mg/L GA3,the content of GA dropped to its lowest point on the 40th day;the changing trend of the content of GA is relatively flat,and were higher than that of the control(CK)from the 60th day in the treatment of 100mg/L and 150 mg/L GA3;in the treatment of cytokinin(6-BA),the content of Zr decreased with the concentration of cytokinin(6-BA)increasing and its peak appeared later;in the treatment of 50mg/L 6-BA,the content of IAA was significantly higher than that of the control,and respectively reached its peak on the 40th day and the 80th day;the changing trend of the content of IAA between the treatments of 100mg/L and 150mg/L 6-BA and the treatments of 100mg/L and 150mg/L IAA;in the treatments of 50mg/L and 100mg/L 6-BA,the contents of GA were higher than that of the control(CK)and its peak appeared ahead of time while lower treatment than that of the control(CK)in the treatment of 150mg/L 6-BA.
