Seeding is a important link in fruit and vegetable cultivation.For a long time,seedling cultivation with peat as nursery substrate and artificial seedling bowl body production in our country. Due to the formation of peat need hundreds and thousands of years, at the same time, peat is non-renewable resources located in the northeast of China or the need to import, No matter from the angle of protect environment or to use the economic perspective, peat as the long-term fruit and vegetable seedling substrate is not the best choice. explore new environmental protection and alternative peat substrate, and study the corresponding seedling bowl body production mechanization equipment to provide the theory basis and the corresponding mechanical equipment for large-scale and mechanized seedling pot body production is key technology of modern breeding industry.This study from the local reality, discusses the feasibility of local straw resources as a new substrate instead of part of the peat. Research as crush straw and peat in the mixture of1:1 ratio forseedling test,analysis the physicochemical properties of mixed substrates, the forming quality and seedling bolw body strength of different content and different particle size on straw seedling bowl body are analyzed. The experiment showed that straw content about 60%, Straw particle size was 3 mm, seedling bowl forming ability and damage resistance ability is strongest.At the same time, the number of binder added also affects seedling bowl forming quality and forming strength. Add the binder, easy molding, but will cause seedling bowl hardening, elasticity and porosity decreased,conversely, add a little binder, seedling pot is not easy molding or molding lower strength. Experiments show that every kilograms seedling substrate add 40 g binder, forming good seedling bowl. The above parameters determined for seedling bowl body instead of seedling production of breeding experiment, seedling germination, growth is good, able to meet the majority of fruit and vegetable seedling requirements. Experiments show that use of local agricultural straw resources as a substitute for seedling pot body matrix is feasible.Combined with the characteristics of the seedling bowl body production of low efficiency, quality is not easy to control, R & D production machinery and equipment of seedling bowl body, Analyzes and design the main module of seedling bowl production machinery--- feed system,mixing system and binder system, The key equipment and mechanical mixing auger is designed and analyzed by finite element analysis and simulation by INVENTOR software. Analysis of the effects of mechanical parameters in seedling bowl forming production process, optimized design m of seedling bowl formingmachine and control syste. Developed to meet basic plant root seedling bowl body production machinery for actual demand of production, per hour can produce seedling pot body 5000~8000, greatly enhance the production efficiency, reduces the labor intensity of workers, lay the foundation for large-scale, standardized production plant root seedling bowl, promote the development of fruit and vegetable seedling industry.
