Rape is the largest oil crops in our country that plays an important role in the cooking oil market.Sowing quality has great effect on rape yield.Rape seeding machine develops slowly in China under influence of the factors such as operation conditions,planting requirements and rapeseed's physical properties.In order to improve the work efficiency and planting quality of rape seeding machine,this paper developed a new rotary tillage-ditching-fertilization and seeding combine machine for rape seeding in rice-rape rotation in Jiangsu province.Considering at the operation condition in Jiangsu province,this paper designed an overall structure of the machine according to the lightweight and simplified design principle.Experiments were done for selection of seed-metering device which was the key part of the machine,and optimization design simulation was carried out.This paper designed the key components of the machine such as rotary tillage-ditching device,profiling mechanism,opener for seeding and fertilization.This paper drew a 3D model by Proe5.0 and analyze the property of rotary axis and the profiling mechanism by using computer-aid design method.Then a field experiment was carried out to test the property of the machine.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The paper designed the overall structure of the machine with 2300mm working width,300mm the line spacing,60?100mm the plant spacing,8 rows the sowing and fertilization,10?20mm sowing depth and 60?80mm fertilization depth.Three-point suspension mechanism was used in the machine.The impetus was delivered to the rotary tillage and ditching device via a gear box which was installed on the machine side,and the ditching blade disc was installed in the middle of the blade shaft.Nest hole wheel seed-meter device and fluted roller fertilizer apparatus was driven by DC motor.The fertilize Parallel Four-Piece Mechanism with rear mounted V-type depth wheel was used for individual profiling,and the V-type wheel was used to press and cover the earth.Rotary tillage,ditching,fertilization,sowing,covering the earth could be completed at once operation.(2)Nest hole wheel seed-metering device was chosen after the comparison testing.The software EDEM was used to simulate the nest hole wheel with different design of types of hole structures.The simulation and testing showed that in aspect of qualified rate,with the rotational speed of 10?50 r/min,30°chamfering nest hole wheel(95.8%?86.6%)which has the largest seeds' interference intensity performed much better than the nest hole wheel without chamfering(90.6%-67.5%)and the 1.25mm rounded nest hole wheel(93.5%?79.2%).(3)This paper determined the type and structure of the key components.Especially,the paper did detailed analysis on rotary tillage-ditching device,profiling mechanism,opener of sowing and fertilization.(4)This paper used Proe5.0 to draw a 3D model of the machine and analyzed the quality attributes and center of gravity of the machine.The results showed that the matched tractor could lift the machine with full fertilizer box.The software ANSYS 14.0 was used for modal analysis of the rotary blade shaft.The results showed that the blade shaft could avoid the resonance while working.Then Proe5.0 was used to simulate the movement process of profiling mechanism,the simulation results showed that,trajectory of the sowing opener was close to the actual terrain and the profiling mechanism was available for the rapeseed sowing.(5)This paper made the prototype of machine and carried out a field preliminary testing.The results showed that the whole structure of the machine was reasonable,and it could adapt the experiment field operation conditions well.After the operation,the flat surface,neat furrow and regularly sized seed bed showed that the working performance had reached the design requirement.
