| This paper was mainly to study the ability of liquid mold inhibitor to maintain feed moisture,to improve production quality,and the influence on feed quality during storage.The main contents and conclusions of the experiment are as follows:1)The mash piglet feed samples collected before conditioning were used as raw materials.Three kinds of liquid mold inhibitor A,B,and C were selected and added to the feeds.Then the samples were treated with different temperature(30 °C,60 °C,90 °C)and different time(10 min,30 min,50 min).Then the effect of water retention was tested.The results showed that: For the dry heat experiment 1,the liquid mold inhibitor A exhibited a better water rettention capacity than B and C.For dry heat temperature 60 °C,treating time 30 min,50 min,and temperature 90 °C,treating time 10 min,30 min,50 min,three kinds of liquid mold inhibitor did not show the significant water retention capacity;For the treatment experiment 2,the liquid mold inhibitor A and C exhibited higher water retention capacity than B.For the dry heat temperature 60°C,treating time 50 min and temperature 90 °C,treating time 10 min,30 min,50 min,three kinds of liquid mold inhibitor did not show the obvious water retention capacity.2)The mash fattening pig feed samples collected before conditioning were used as raw materials.Three kinds of liquid mold inhibitor A,B,and C,were selected and added to the feed according to their respective recommended amounts and usage methods.These samples were conditioned(0.2 MPa,time 40 s)and pelleted(ring mode pore size,3 mm),respectively.Then the moisture,starch gelatinization,mash content and powdering rate were measured.The results showed that the moisture content of the three groups were significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),for increasing the moisture content after conditioning and pelleting by maxium 1.17% compared with the control group.The degree of starch gelatinization for three experimental groups were higher than control group(P<0.05),and increased starch gelatinization degree reached 4.54% at the max.Comparing with the control group,the addition of liquid mold inhibitor A and B can significantly reduce the mash percentage in pelleted feed(P<0.05);The addition of liquid mold inhibitor can decrease the powdering rate of pelleted feed(P<0.05),for 3.01 % at the max compared with the control group.3)The mash fattening pig feed samples collected before conditioning were used as raw materials.Three kinds of liquid mold inhibitor A,B,and C,were selected and added to the feed according to their respective recommended amounts and usage methods.These samples were conditioned(0.2 MPa,time 80 s)and pelleted(ring mode pore size,3 mm).Then the samples were cooled and dried.The finished pellet feeds were individually packaged and stored in three different conditions:1).Low temperature,low humidity(temperature 15 °C,relative humidity 50%);2).Medium temperature,medium humidity(temperature 28 °C,relative humidity 75%);3).High temperature,high humidity(temperature 35 °C,relative humidity 85%).Each group was stored for 60 days.During storage time,the samples of each group were taken every 10 days,then moisture content,the fatty acid value,the total number of mold,and the total number of bacteria were determined.At the same time,the sensory evaluation of the feed samples were performed.The results showed that: The liquid mold inhibitor can effectively prevent the mildew of feed,slow down the speed of feed rancidity,maintain the stability of moisture content and the water activity.Based on the sensory evaluation results and the results of the total number of mold,the safety storage time of feed was predicted as follows: five test group samples can be safely stored for more than 60 days under low-temperature and low-humidity condition;the safe storage time of the samples without liquid mold inhibitor under medium temperature and humidity condition were less than 40 days.When three kinds of liquid mold inhibitor A,B and C were added to feeds,the samples can be safely stored for more than 60 days.In the high temperature and high humidity condition,the safe storage time of the samples without liquid mold inhibitor were less than 40 days.The liquid mold inhibitor A and C added to feed can extend the safe storage time more than 60 days. |
