There has been a long history of vegetable soybean cultivation in Shandong, and the pests are serious. There is an important meaning to guide the comprehensive management of pests that studying arthropod community and occurrence dynamics of pests and natural enemies.Etiella zinckenella?Treitschke?is an important pest that affects vegetable soybean yield. The Larvaeharm buds, pods, bean leaves andcause a significant reduction in soybean production and poor quality. In this paper, the structure of arthropod communityin vegetable soybean field base have been investigated in Feicheng,Tai'an.The dynamics of main pests and natural enemies have been clarified. The artificial diet and artificial rearing method were studied about the main pests,E.zinckenella.The results are as follows:1.The arthropod community structure in vegetablesoybean field in Tai'anThere were 39 species of arthropods in vegetablesoybean field in Tai'an belonging to 2classes,12 orders and 28 families, respectively and the major pests of spring soybean are Aphis glycines,Empoascaflavescens,Etiella zinckenella and Bemisia tabaci. And the major natural enemies of insect pests are Orius minutus,Chrysoperla sinica,Harmonia axyridis and Propylaea japonica.Byusingthe indexes for describing community characteristics such as abundance, evenness, diversity indexes to analyze the survey data of arthropod community structure in vegetablesoybean field,it was found that the dynamics of diversities and evennesses in arthropod community changing from loosely to highly tended, and then,to loosely. The dominance index was higher at the end of May and at the end of August, and the species homogeneity index and diversity index were lower. We studied the population dynamics of the main pests and their natural enemies:the harm peak of Aphis glycines was the early summer and the end of August, the occurring of Empoasca flavescens reducedon the late stage of soybean growth, the peak occurrence period of Etiella zinckenella was in the end of August, the occurrence period of Bemisia tabaci was from the last ten days of June. And the occurrence peak of Orius minutuswas the middle ten days of July, the occurring of Chrysoperla sinicare reduced from August,Harmonia axyridis and Propylaea japonica occurred in the whole growth period of soybean. The investigation can provide ascientific basis for integrated pest management of vegetable soybean field.2.The study on life table of E.zinckenella at different artificial dietThe effects of four different prescription on the development and reproduction were studied by the age-stage Life Table Method. The results showed that prescription 1 had the best feeding effectsin the four prescriptions.Larvae at prescription 1 had the shorter developmental duration and the higher survival rate than other tested prescription.Larva at prescription 2 and 4 had longer developmental duration, and the difference is significant.Egg and pupa had the shortest developmental duration at prescription 1,had the longest developmental duration at prescription 4,and the difference is significant.Prescription 1 had the shortest mean generation times?T?was 34.05 d and Prescription 4 had the longest T was37.72 d.Prescription 1 had the highest intrinsic rates of increase?r?,finite rates of increase???,net reproduction rate?R0?were 0.08521 d-1?1.0890 d-1?18.46 offspring, respectively.Prescription 1 had the most eggs of 39.57 by per female. We compared prescription 1 with the natural feed soybean on feeding effect,it showed that prescription 1 had a better feeding effect and can satisfy the development and reproduction of E.zinckenella.3.The study on artificial rearing method of E.zinckenellaThis paper studied the artificial rearing method of E.zinckenella, included the effects of different breeding facilities on the growth and development of larvae, the effects of different sex ratio on fecundity, and the influence of different spawning facilities on oviposition. The results showed that the 30 ml plastic measuring cup had the highest survival ratecompared with flat-bottomed tube and 12 well culture plate. The survival rates of five instars were higher than 93%.And there were no significant differences in the larvae duration among the three breeding facilities. There were no significant differences in adult longevity and egg hatching rate among different sex ratio, and there was highest fecundity when the sex ratio of female to male was 1:2.The effect of different spawning facilities on the longevity of adults was not significant, the longevity of male and female were about 14 days and 11 days. The fresh pods was the only facility which adult laid eggs on,and the fecundity on other three facilities were 0.
