China is not only a big forestry producer,but also a big consumer of forest products.The area of fast-growing forest is the first in the world.It has the characteristics of short growth cycle and high quantity of material.It is of great significance to restore the ecological environment of forest resources and alleviate the increasingly tense contradiction of supply and demand of wood resources.Pruning is a basic silvicultural measure for fast-growing forest management.Reasonable pruning can improve wood quality,increase economic benefits and prevent forest disasters.But at present,the research of tree pruning machinery in our country is still in the initial stage.The backward pruning method and the lack of high efficient pruning machinery have affected the degree of industrial mechanization,and seriously restrict the healthy development of forestry in our country.In accordance with the process of forestry modernization and in order to improve the backwardness of the pruning method,based on the first generation of the fast-growing forest pruning machinery developed by the project group,this paper optimizes the design according to the actual defects and shortcomings found in the process of testing and application,and develops a higher efficiency and application through kinematics simulation and prototype test.More efficient,better stable fast-growing forest efficient tree-climbing pruning machine.It mainly consists of four parts: climbing mechanism,pruning mechanism,power system and control system.In this paper,the whole machine of high efficient tree climbing pruning machine and the scheme of each mechanism are designed.According to the design scheme,the desi gn parameters are calculated and the components are selected.The 3D modeling of the virtual prototype is carried out on the tree pruning machine,and the dynamic and transportation simulation analysis of the climbing mechanism is carried out.In the probl em,the pruning mechanism is optimized by comparison and analysis of various cutting tools and calculation and selection.Finally,the experimental prototype is processed and assembled according to the optimized design scheme,and the transmission performa nce,climbing function,pruning function and comprehensive performance of the prototype are tested and verified,and the test data is analyzed.The performance of the prototype is evaluated.Through the test,the climbing efficiency of the optimized tree pruning pruner has been improved significantly.Under the 70% state of the ideal throttle switch,the climbing speed is 0.059m/s,the climbing line speeds up to 0.68m/s,the climbing efficiency is increased by 25.5%,and the pruning work of a high 15 m tree is completed less than three minutes,which greatly improves the working efficiency and saves the work efficiency.Every climbing wheel has the ability to automatically adjust the position of the work according to the tree condition,the swing angle of the swing beam is 20 degrees,the climbing wheel can adjust the height of 52.09 mm,which is enough to cross the obstacles such as the tree tumor,tree hole,tree pile and so on.At the same time,it is better to fit the tree trunk and improve the efficiency o f climbing;the pruning milling cutter has a long 160 mm and fast cutting.It is suitable for all kinds of trees in the fast-growing forest.The maximum diameter of pruning is 60 mm.With the fixed distance device of pruning,the blade keeps constant distance from the tree trunk,the height of the pile is consistent,the height of the pile is controlled by the nylon fixed pitch wheel and the bark is protected at the same time;the structure is simplified,the cloth is compact,the weight of the whole machine is 33 kg,and the weight reduction is 21.99%.The optimized design of high efficiency tree pruning machine has compact structure,compact layout,high efficiency,high applicability,good safety,high automation,good quality of pruning,and suitable for the pruning operation of fast-growing forest.
