This experiment compared and analyzed the fruit quality of 16 red grape varieties cultivated in the hinterland and Weibei dryland area of Shaanxi Province,providing a theoretical basis and practical guidance for the regionalization of grape varieties in Shaanxi Province.Based on the research can we draw the following conclusion:(1)The content of phenolic compounds in the skin and seeds of grapevines differed significantly among different varieties.The contents of total phenols,tannins,and anthocyanins in the grape YLN55 and DF skins and wine samples were significantly higher than those in the others varieties;and the contents of polyphenols in the fruit peel,seeds and wine samples of ML grape is the lowest The contents of polyphenols in the skins of Merlot,PN,CF,CS and MSL red wine grapes in Yangling area were significantly higher than those in Heyang area,but the results of determination of polyphenols in brewed liquors of PN and CF single varieties were the opposite.(2)The contents of total phenols,flavonoids,flavanols,tannins,and anthocyanins in grape skins determine the content of polyphenols in wine samples,affecting the shades,red shades,purple shades,and saturation of wine color.In addition,there is a highly significant positive correlation between the content of total phenols and anthocyanins in grape skins and grape disease resistance.(3)Comprehensively analyzing the fruit quality of wine grapes and the quality of single wine samples,it was concluded that the comprehensive ranking of wine grapes in Yangling area was: N55> DF> Merlot> CS> MSL> CF> JNH> PN> ML;Heyang area for: CS> MSL> JNH> CF> Merlot> PN> ML;and Yangling region Merlot,CS and MSL wine grape scored higher than Heyang area.Based on the results of this experiment,it is recommended that the N55,DF,Merlot,CS and MSL red wine grapes be developed in Yangling,and attention should be paid to the management of the crown and the control of fungal diseases in the growing season.Heyang regionhas good maturity and lower fungal disease,but the accumulation of polyphenols in the fruit is less,which affects the quality of the wine.Therefore,it is recommended that the late-maturing varieties CS and MSL should be the main raw materials for the wine grapes,and the early-maturing varieties JNH and mid-maturing varieties CF also can be planted.The Meili grape is light in color,soft in tannins and fruity,can be used to produce rose wine.
