This paper reports the results of the breeding results of a Flowering cabbage cytoplasmic male sterile line‘CMShexin'and of a Chinese cabbage nucleus male sterile AB line type I‘GMSxinliang'.The Chinese cabbage cytoplasmic male sterility line'Ziluolan'was used as the sterile source,The saturated backcross method was used to transfer the cytoplasmic male sterile gene of Chinese cabbage to the Flowering Chinese cabbage.And the hybrid combinations were used to analyze the combining ability.The sexual genetic recombination hybrid method was used to improve the overlapping traits of genetic multiple alleles inherited male sterile line‘Xinliang'of Chinese cabbage,and then a nuclear gene male sterile line with a 100%overlapping rate was prepared.Below are key research findings:1.The 'Ziluolan'cabbage cytoplasmic male sterile line was sterilized,and the high-lined inbred line'Hexin'was the target strain for transfer.After 5 consecutive generations of backcrossing,a cabbage core cytoplasmic male sterile line'CMShexin'with 100%sterile plant rate and 100%sterility was created.Its horticultural traits are similar to the recurrent parent'Hexin',achieving the goal of directional breeding.2.The cultured cytoplasmic male sterile line'CMShexin'and the newly grown Flowering cabbage nucleus male sterile line'GMSqi2'were used as female parent,and was formulated with the original transgenic lines'Qi 2'and'Hexin'in a combination of reciprocal crosses;The male sterile lines were then used to prepare hybrid combinations with 10 inbred lines and conduct a variety comparison test.The results showed that the heterosis of hybrid combinations prepared with the nuclear gene male sterile line'GMSqi2'was significant,and the hybrid combination prepared with the cytoplasmic male sterile line'CMShexin'had a slow growth rate and delayed convulsions.3.In order to improve the overlapping traits of genetic multiple alleles inherited male sterile line‘GMSxinliang'of Chinese cabbage,the overlapping gene?Ob?of its temporary maintenance line(msms)was transferred to the AB line type I?MsMs+MsfMs?.In this study,the non-overlapping A-type fertile hybrid?MsfMsobob?was crossed with the overlapping temporary maintainer?msmsObOb?,and a AB line type I?MsMsOb Ob+MsfMsObOb?with overlapping properties was screened in its progeny.
