Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is the accumulation of TCM culture in our country for thousands years,which have a significant impact in Asia and even many countries in the world.TCM is facing new challenges in the new period.The TCM formula particles is an important step for the standardization and internationalization of TCM.Therefore,the control of the quality of TCM formula particles is particularly important.Infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction(XRD)can reflect the comprehensive information of the drug without damage.The 21 kinds of TCM formula particles and herbs were studied using infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction method combining with clustering analysis and artificial neural network in this paper.This dissertation is divided into eleven chapters.Chapter one:Introduction.The research progress of 21 kinds of TCM formula particles and herbs were summarized in this chapter with 203 references.The objective and significance of this dissertation were described in brief.Chapter two:Study on the infrared fingerprint of iron-containing mineral medicine.The experimental methods and instruments were introduced and the experimental conditions were optimized at first.And the infrared spectra of four kinds of iron-containing mineral medicines including chishizhi,cishi,zirantong,zheshi were measured and the infrared spectra of different TCM formula particles and herbs from different manufacturers were obtained.The consistency of the infrared spectra of the same medicine was investigated with the clustering analysis method and the consistency of the infrared spectra of formula particles of chishizhi,cishi,zirantong,zheshi from different manufacturers were observed except chishizhi.respectively,with a greater difference corresponding to the infrared spectra of medicinal material.The classification of four kinds of iron-containing mineral medicines were carried out successfully using the artificial neural network(ANN).Chapter three:Study on the fingerprint spectra of calcium-containing mineral medicine.The infrared spectra of calcium-containing mineral medicine including hanshuishi,huaruishi,shigao,zishiying were measured and the infrared spectra of formula particles and herbs from different manufacturers were obtained.The consistency of the infrared spectra of the same medicine was investigated with the clustering analysis method and the consistency of the infrared spectra of formula particles of the four kinds of medicine from different manufacturers were observed,respectively,with a greater difference corresponding to the infrared spectra of medicinal material.The classification of four kinds of calcium-containing mineral medicines were carried out using ANN and the satisfactory results were achieved.Chapter four:Study on the fingerprint spectra of silicon-containing mineral medicine.The infrared spectra of silicon-containing mineral medicine including haifushi,huashi,qingmengshi,yangqishi were measured and the infrared spectra of formula particles and herbs from different manufacturers were obtained.The consistency of the infrared spectra of the same medicine was investigated with the clustering analysis method and the consistency of the infrared spectra of formula particles of the four kinds of medicine from different manufacturers were observed,respectively,with a greater difference corresponding to the infrared spectra of medicinal material.The classification of four kinds of silicon-containing mineral medicines were carried out using ANN and the satisfactory results were achieved.Chapter five:Study on the fingerprint spectra of fossil medicine.The infrared spectra of fossil medicine including longchi,longu were measured and the infrared spectra of formula particles and herbs from different manufacturers were obtained.The consistency of the infrared spectra of the same medicine was investigated with the clustering analysis method and the consistency of the infrared spectra of formula particles of the two kinds of medicine from different manufacturers were observed,respectively,with a greater difference corresponding to the infrared spectra of medicinal material.The classification of two kinds of fossil medicines were carried out using ANN and the satisfactory results were achieved.Chapter six:Study on the fingerprint spectra of animal medicine.The infrared spectra of animal medicineincluding,haigefen,jiangcan,muli,zquanxie,shuizhi,tubiechong,zhenzhumu were measured and the infrared spectra of formula particles and herbs from different manufacturers were obtained.The consistency of the infrared spectra of the same medicine was investigated with the clustering analysis method and the consistency of the infrared spectra of formula particles of the seven kinds of medicine from different manufacturers were observed,respectively,with a greater difference corresponding to the infrared spectra of medicinal material.The classification of seven kinds of animal medicines were carried out using ANN and the satisfactory results were achieved.Chapter seven:Study on the XRD spectrum of iron-containing mineral medicine.The experimental conditions were optimized for the measurement of X-ray diffraction spectrum in this chapter.The XRD spectra of four kinds of iron-containing mineral medicine including chishizhi,cishi,zirantong,zheshi were measured and the XRD spectra of formula particles and herbs from different manufacturers were obtained.The consistency of the XRD spectra of the same medicine was investigated with the clustering analysis method.The poor consistency of the XRD spectra of formula particles and herbs from different manufactures were observed,respectively,the
