Objective:To study the effect of Acupoint catgut embedding treating early postoperative inflammatory small bowel obstruction(EPISBO)after surgery for colorectal cancer and sum up the treatment advantage of integrative Medicine.Methods: 60 patients with EPISBO after surgery for colorectal cancer were included in the standard.they were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The Control group using western medicine,The treatment group for the routine treatment of Western medicine combined with Acupoint catgut embedding.After the end of the general continuous treatment for 5 days.to observe the bowel sound recovery time,the exhaust recovery time,the recovery defecation time and patients with symptoms disappeared completely in time.Results: Clinical studies show that: the treatment group were superior to the control group in the the bowel sound recovery time,the exhaust recovery time,the recovery defecation time,patients with symptoms disappeared completely in time and the total clinical efficacy,there was statistically differences between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Acupoint catgut embedding can effectively improve the EPISBO after surgery for colorectal cancer patients' clinical symptoms and signs,speed up the elimination of inflammation and promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function.It is an ideal method of integrative Medicine.
