Objective: Through detecting the serum levels of IL-32 in untreated low RPR titer group, untreated high RPR titer group and serofast group, our team explored in the view point of cellular immunology that whether IL-32 is involved in the damage process of tissue cells in patients with syphilis, whether there are differences at different the periods of disease, provided a theoretical basis for Assessment of the disease?further research and effective in the treatment of patients with syphilis. Methods: Serum samples of patients met the diagnostic criteria of syphilis patients, were divided into untreated low RPR titer group, untreated high RPR titer group and serofast group.ELISA-sandwich technique to detect the serum levels of IL-32 in untreated low RPR titer group, untreated high RPR titer group, serofast group and normal controls. The differencies of IL-32 levels among untreated low RPR titer group, untreated high RPR titer group, serofast group and normal controls were analyzed.Analyze the correlation IL-32 in these groups.Results:1.The levels of IL-32 in serum of the untreated low RPR titer group, untreated high RPR titer group, serofast group were(114.74±30.51)ng/L,(116.62±27.61)ng/L,(120.44±23.34)ng/L,and the normal group was(118.75±18.15)ng/L.However,The serum levels of IL-32 of untreated low RPR titer group, untreated high RPR titer group, serofast group and normal controls, there was no significant difference(P>0.05).2.There was no significant correlation between IL-32 and RPR titer in untreated low RPR titer group(r=-0.183,P>0.05),the same as untreated high RPR titer group(r=0.149,P>0.05),serofast group(r=-0.029,P>0.05)and untreated syphilis group combined untreated low RPR titer group and untreated high RPR titer group(r=0.035,P>0.05).Conclusion:1 There was no significant correlation between the serum level of IL-32 and the immune response in syphilis;2 There was no significant correlation between the serum level of IL-32 and the damage process of tissue cells in patients with syphilis.
