| Objectives: This clinical test will study the therapeutic effects of the modified Caiju decoction in the treatment of type IIIB prostatitis patients through observing the influence on the clinical indexes.Discussing the action of modified Caiju decoction in the treatment of type IIIB prostatitis,to provide clinical and theoretical basis for the clinical application.Methods: 90 cases of type IIIB prostatitis patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(n=45)and the control group(n=45).The treatment group was treated with modified Caiju decoction,the control group was treated with Qianlietongyu Capsule.Both two groups were in a treatment course of 4 weeks.Both two groups were recorded the total score,the score of pain,voiding symptom and the quality of life in the pre-treatment and post-treatment according to the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index(NIH-CPSI).Both two groups also were recorded amout of lecithin body of EPS in the personal distribution.All clinical datas were analyzed by the statistical software.Results:(1)During the treatment period,the treatment group automatically exit 2 cases and the other patients had no obvious medication-related adverse reactions.In the control group,all subjects were completed the clinical research.1 case had slight medication-related adverse reactions.No special treatment because the patient can tolerate,and the adverse reaction lasted little time.(2)After a course of treatment(4 weeks).In treatment group(n=43),9 cases were cured,16 cases showed markedly effective,12 cases were valid,6 cases was ineffective,the general effective rate was 86.05%.In the control group,4 cases were cured,8 cases showed markedly effective,20 cases were valid,13 cases was ineffective,the general effective rate was 71.11%.There was significant difference of therapeutic effects between the treatment group and the control group according to the statistical analysis(p<0.05).The result showed the therapeutic effects of the modified Caiju decoction in the treatment of type IIIB prostatitis was better than control group.(3)Observing the NIH-CPSI scores of two group in the pre-treatment and post-treatment.In the treatment group of pre-treatment,the total score was 26.69±5.67,the score of pain was 12.23±2.78,the score of voiding symptom was 5.23±2.52,and the score of the quality of life was 9.53±1.80.In the control group of pre-treatment,the total score was 26.44±5.54,the score of pain was 12.00±2.81,the score of voiding symptom was 5.38±2.36,and the score of the quality of life was 9.38±1.67.In the treatment group of post-treatment,the total score was 10.79±7.98,the score of pain was 4.76±3.75,the score of voiding symptom was 2.42±1.99,and the score of the quality of life was 3.58±2.81.In the control group of post-treatment,the total score was 15.36±8.07,the score of pain was 6.87±3.96,the score of voiding symptom was 3.60±2.51,and the score of the quality of life was 4.96±2.99.According to the statistical analysis,There was a significant difference in NIH-CPSI value between pre-treatment and post-treatment in the both groups(P<0.01).According to the statistical analysis,the effects of releasing pain,improving life quality and decreasing NIH-CPSI scores in treatment group were better than those in control group after 4 weeks(p<0.05).(4)Recording the amout of lecithin body of EPS in the personal distribution among two groups in the pre-treatment and post-treatment,there was a statistical significance showed that the treatment group could increase the amount of lecithin body of EPS better than control group(p<0.05).Conclusion: Modifided Caiju decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,increase amount of lecithin body of EPS,and decrease NIH-CPSI scores.The result of clinical research shows that using Modifided Caiju decoction to treat type IIIB prostatitis that can achieve the significant clinical efficacy with no obvious medication-related adverse reactions.And its therapeutic effects is better than Qianlietongyu Capsule.Modifided Caiju decoction is worthy of clinical application and further studies in the treatment of type IIIB prostatitis. |
