PurposeTo investigate the difference between the normal person and liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension(PHT),and the correlation between PHT vein volume and vessel diamete in portal and splenic vessel, providing research foundation for the evaluation of portal hypertension in the early stage of PHT.At the same time analyzed the relationship between the percentage change of intrahepatic portal vein volume and liver cirrhosis reserve function.ObjectSelected patients with liver cirrhosis comprehensive proved by clinical manifestations serological indicators, ultrasound and CT from march through august in 2015.There were 35 cases in this group, including 23 males and 12 females, cases were grouped according to Child-Pugh modified method. Among them,13 cases in A grade,12 cases in B grade,10 case in C grade;other chose 30 cases as the control group without liver, spleen and portal vein diseases.Materials and MethodPhilips 256-slice spiral CT was used to proceed the vascular contrast-enhanced CT scan, the liver cirrhosis and the control groups were both injected by double tube high pressure syring into the contrast (370mgl/mL) at the speed of 5ml/s, according to 1.5ml/kg accounted the contrast dose, the upper limit of 120ml,and 40ml saline was injected at the same rate. After CT plain scan, proceeding contrast-enhanced CT scan of hepatic arterial phase and portal vein phase:the arterial phase was triggered by automatic threshold, arterial phase scan time for abdominal aortic enhancement threshold reached 150Hu after delayed 8s initiation;Portal venous phase scan time was delayed 35-40s after abdominal aortic enhancement threshold. All patients in cirrhosis and the control groups portal vein phase images were performed ascular reconstruction on EWB Philips workstation, and measured automatically regions of interest(ROI) by Volume software comparing the difference in volume between patients in different group. The body surface area and body mass index were calculated by measuring the height and weight of the patients before scan. On the other hand, the laboratory indexes of hepatitis virus, liver function and blood coagulation function in patients with CT were collected in 3 days.Results1、MSCT portal volume measurement can quantify the changes in vascular volume.2、There is a moderate correlation between the volume of portal vein and the body surface area (the correlation coefficient was 0.552), and there is no significant correlation with age, weight, height and body mass index.3、There is a significant difference between liver cirrhosis and normal people on the portal vein and intrahepatic portal vein volume percentage.4、The volume of portal vein in patients with cirrhosis is not related to the course of cirrhosis; the volume percentage of the intrahepatic portal vein decreased with the negative process of liver cirrhosisConclusionLiver cirrhosis patients with liver function child-Pugh grading and intrahepatic portal vein of the volume percentage of changes and volume changes of intrahepatic portal vein...
