disorder',‘Reasonable diet but a lack of regularity',‘a lack of exercise',‘interpersonal deprivation',‘increasing health responsibility with age',‘spiritual growth',and ‘work occupying personal life time'.Under the perspective of nurses, their occupational well-being can not be judged by the absolute nature, which need to be divided into two.Eight themes were extracted on its influencing factors: ‘the sense of life-saving mission',‘approved by the society to bring a sense of accomplishment',‘personality traits of contentedness',‘work overload',‘interfering healthy lifestyle',‘health care system is not sound',‘Attaching great importance to the doctors and despising nurses in the national ideology',‘nursing professional development need a breakthrough'.Conclusion: Both the nurses' health-promoting lifestyle and occupational well-being are at the secondary level, and need to be further improved. The nurses' health-promoting lifestyle and occupational well-being were influencd by a variety of factors.Meanwhile they were positively correlated, influencing each other, promoting each other.N urses thought their health promoting lifestyle level is not high. There were much insufficiency such as daily routine, diet, sleep, exercise, interpersonal communication and leisure time, but the medical work made the nurses health concepts improved, the mind more mature.Nurses' occupational well-being can not be judged absolutely, which need to be divided into two.‘The sense of life-saving mission' and ‘approved by the society to bring a sense of accomplishment' help to increase the occupational well-being.‘Work overload',‘interfering healthy lifestyle',‘health care system is not sound',‘Attaching great importance to the doctors and despising nurses in the national ideology' and ‘The limitations of nursing profession development' made their occupational well-being decreased.Meanwhile, people with different personalities had different cognition about the well-being.Health-promoting lifestyle and occupational well-being were positively correlated, influencing each other, promoting each other.Managers should take pertinent measures to strengthen one of them, then the other improved, forming a vituous circle. It will help to improve nurses' phisical and mental health, increase nursing quality, retain nursing talents, and stabilize the nursing team.
