Background:Among the many malignancy, the incidence of liver cancer ranked third in the world, new cases each year accounted for more than 50% of the world. With the recent multi-disciplinary research to the deepening of liver cancer, liver cancer and the appropriate treatment of different classification scheme has been the refinement. Among the many treatment options which, because of its minimally invasive interventional treatment and good prognosis more and more people's attention. Among the many treatment options which, because of its minimally invasive interventional treatment and good prognosis more and more people's attention. The interventional treatment itself experienced from scratch, from groping matured from single means to a variety of changes. I believe that with the application of a large number of new technologies and materials, interventional treatment also will demonstrate its unique advantages in the treatment of liver cancer.Platelet-derived growth factor (platelet-derived growth factor, PDGF) is a type of cytokine closely associated with growth, development, cancer, etc., produced by a variety of cells secrete, with a wide range of biological activity, involving a variety of diseases. Overexpression of PDGF and its receptor is one of the common features of tumors in breast cancer, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, skin cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer and other tumor cells It can be detected high levels of PDGF and its receptorPurpose:Hepatocellular carcinoma patients before and after the implementation of hepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in the treatment, the blood platelet-derived growth factor (Platelet-derived growth factor, PDGF) content of C and D, and to explore associated with TACE efficacy and tumor recurrence, progression between sex.Method:According to the principle of RCTs, from March 2012 to May 2013 40 cases of patients as a volunteer PLC (all volunteers are voluntarily participating in the study, and before this had never received any form of treatment) in our hospital interventional radiology treatment TACE (TACE group),,25 males and 15 females, aged 35-75 years, mean 53.5 years. Tumor diameter of 3.5 -9 cm, the mean (4.35±1.34) cm; Child -Pugh grade:A grade 34, grade B 6 people. Full of all tumor markers AFP more than 400?g/L, in line with PLC diagnostic criteria (HCC by the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Professional Committee of the Eighth National Conference of liver cancer, in September 2001 to develop). The control group was 20 healthy subjects,15 men and 5 women, aged 24-65 years, mean 49.5 years, all the volunteers were voluntarily participate in the study, and undergo a rigorous medical examination, to exclude liver disease. The method of double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ie enzyme-linkedimmune- sorbent assay, ELISA) in serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D is detected, and the results with the control group serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D content comparison. Results:Preoperative serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D content significantly higher (P<0.05); after one day, one week after one day compared with preoperative serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D was significantly higher (P<0.05); CR group patients a month serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D content than before surgery significantly decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); and PR +SD group serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D content is significantly higher than the preoperative, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Patients with preoperative serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D content was positively correlated (r= 0.42, P<0.001); and is closely related to the presence or absence of tumor thrombus; serum PDGF-D and envelope characteristics closely related (P<0.05) serum PDGF-C was significantly higher than in non-enveloped enveloped group, but the difference was not statistically significant. PDGF-C, PDGF-D were associated with age, sex, HBsAg, AFP level, postoperative residual or recurrent tumor diameter so there was no correlation (P>0.05)Conclusion:TACE liver cancer before and after treatment by serum PDGF-C, PDGF-D content, able to assess the efficacy and T AC E determine whether the tumor recurrence, providing an important reference for progress and so on.
