Effect On Auricular Point Sticking On Postoperative Analgesia And Function Exercise After Elbow Surgery

Objective:To observe the curative effect of the auricular point compress and rehabili-tation training treating the local postoperative pain of the elbow fracture, so as to evaluate the acesodyne effect and the postoperative functional rehabilitation effect. To discuss the TCM mechanismand the application of the auricular point compress.Methods:Adopting the randomized controlled trial of the research methods, the study selects from those inpatients who have been performed traumatic orthopaedics operation in the Hospital of Xiamen of TCM from October,2014 to October,2015 and divides 52 patients(including male 33 cases,female 19 cases, from 18 to 59 years old,average age 34.2) who according with introduction standard and elimination standard into two groups in random:27 cases in therapy group(using the auricular point compress)and 25 cases in control group(only using rehabilitation training).Both two groups received rehabilitation training like hot-compress,upper limb isometric exercise, active and passive training of joint, massage, CPM, ice-compress, ROM training in elbow joint and psychological support. In addition, The therapy group also received the treatment of the auricular point compress(compress the auricular point of zhou, shenmen, jiaogan, pizixia, gan pi,thrice daily, intensify once before rehabilitation training,10 times in each treating and each auricular point. Change ear on the contralateral each 3 days.) while the control group took nothing.To make a research of the change of exercise pain on the elbow joint before treatment 15 day and after the treatment 15 day and 30 day of the two groups and to make a record of the WAS count, ROM value and HHS evaluation on the elbow joints on the 15 day and 30 day after the treatment, the author synthesizes all the observed indicators, applies the statistical analysis and gains the statistics conclusions with SPSS 18.0.Results:(1) The two groups shows no significant differences (P>0.05) on the exercise VAS marking and ROM marking before treatment. But it shows significant differences (P<0.05) on 15 days and 30 days after the treatment. (2) In each group, the result shows significant differences(P<0.05)on the count of HHS.Conclusion:(1) This result indicated that the curative effect of the auricular point compress treating the local postoperative pain of the elbow fracture is positive. (2) The effect of the auricular point compress treating and rehabilitation training is better than that of the rehabilitation training.
