| Objective To seek a safer, effective and rapid recovery of gastrointestinal function, observed the intervention of acupuncture therapy on gastrointestinal function restoration after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Let Traditional Chinese Medicinal participate better in the fast track surgery clinical practice and promote the rapid rehabilitation techniques after laparoscopic cholecystectomy application. Methods Included with the standard set of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 60 patients, divided into acupuncture therapy for intervention treatment group and the control group,30 patients in each. Where in the control group of patients to be modern fast track surgery routine regimen in the perioperative period.Except the equally fast track surgery routine treatment like control group, patients in the treatment group given acupuncture intervention, which started at 6 hours postoperative, twice a day till the first defecation after surgery. Observe the first defecation exhaust time, the recovery of bowel sounds, postoperative nausea and vomiting, abdominal distension and abdominal pain, as well as changes in plasma gastrin. Results The difference between acupuncture group and contral group of postoperative abdominal pain, bloating, nausea and vomiting, has no statistically significant (p>0.05), but after acupuncture, they had statistically significant differences (p<0.05).The shortest, longest and average time of bowel sounds recovery after surgery of acupuncture group were lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05); the differences between two groups in the number of bowel sounds at 12 hours,24 hours and 48 hours after surgery were statistically significant (p<0.05). The shortest, longest and average time of the first defecation exhaust time after surgery of acupuncture group were lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). Patients of both groups had the increased plasma gastrin. There was no significant difference between the preoperative and the postoperative in contral group, while acupuncture group had, and at each time point were significantly higher than control group (p<0.05). The difference of overall efficacy between acupuncture group and control group was statistically significant (p<0.05).Conclusion Patients in the acupuncture therapy group were better than the control group in time of bowel sounds recovery after surgery; the number of bowel sounds at different time points; the first defecation exhaust time; postoperative nausea and vomiting; abdominal distension and abdominal pain; as well as changes in plasma gastrin. The differences between groups were statistically significant (p<0.05). |
