| Objective: This subject treats hyperplasia of mammary glands through external application of Kangrushuang and explores clinical applied value of external of Chinese herbal preparation-Kangrushuang in curing hyperplasia of mammary glands by observing changes of clinical indicators like pain,adverse reactions and sex hormones related indexes before and after treatment.Methods: 60 patients with hyperplasia of mammary glands from breast special outpatient of the Guilin Traditional Chinese medicine Hospital were selected and randomly divided into 60 cases in control group and 60 cases in treatment group.TAM was taken orally in control group,whereas Kangrushuang paste was for external application to treat in treatment group.A month was considered as one course of treatment,three course of treatment in total.Observing Changes of clinical indicators like pain,adverse reactions and sex hormones related indexes before and after treatment.Results:(1)Total effective rates of treatment group(Kangrushuang)and control group(TAM)in curing hyperplasia of mammary glands can be up to 80%.Treatment group(Kangrushuang)and control group(TAM)were 85.71% and 86.79%.The efficacy of Treatment group(Kangrushuang)was proven to be accurate.(2)The adverse of treatment group(Kangrushuang)was 5.36%.The adverse of control group(TAM)was 22.64%.There was significant difference between the treatment group(Kangrushuang)and the control group(TAM).It show that the treatment group(Kangrushuang)has a higher clinical safety than the control group(TAM).(3)The mean value of the treatment group(Kangrushuang)and the control group(TAM)before treatment were 732.95±576.38 and 735.43±542.84.The mean value of the treatment group(Kangrushuang)and the control group(TAM)after treatment were 741.98±552.00 and 710.57±531.02.Before and after treatment,the E2 value of the control group(TAM)was significantly different(P<0.05).It showed that TAM can reduce the level of E2.Conclusion(s): Kangrushuang with functions of principle of regulating qi and promoting blood flow,removing obstruction of channels and resolving mass,reducing swelling and arresting pain to relieve pain has better therapeutic effects to improve clinical symptoms of patients like breast pain,lumps and so on.Its external application with simple method,insignificant toxicity and side effect as well as good patients' compliance has vast potential for future clinical application. |
