Objective:By detecting the blood cycle snake injury patients serum matrix metalloprot einases 9(matrix metalloproteinase-9,MMP-9)and soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(solube intercellular adhesion moleculet-1,sICAM 1)concentrations,an d to explore limb swelling degree with the serum levels of MMP-9,sICAM 1 corre lation, analysis of MMP-9,sICAM 1 activation in blood following snake injury may play a role in the pathogenesis of limb swelling. Methods:A total of 90 cases of patients were selected, people's Hospital from April],2016 to December 31,2016,Fujian University of TCM affiliated emergency depart ment and the snake from the Department of Traumatology blood circulation of patient s injured in snakes, the diagnosis of all cases were consistent with the diagnostic crite ria of snakebite poisoning. There were 61 males and 29 females, aged 23-80 years,w ith an average age of 54.16± 11.92 years old(range, years).Bite to visit time are les s than 12 hours.According to the degree of local limb swelling, the patients were div ided into mild swelling group(35 cases),moderate swelling group(n = 41)and sever e swelling group(n = 14).Among them were 40 cases of Trimeresurus stejnegeri bite, iron head snake injured in 26 cases,24 cases injured acutus bite.Using enzyme-link ed immunosorbent assay(Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay,ELISA)were detecte d in 90 patients with blood circulation in patients injured snake and control group in the same period 30 cases of healthy persons serum MMP-9 and sICAM-1 concentratio n,correlation of concentration difference between groups were compared using statistic al software index and limb swelling degree.Results:1.Compared with the control group, the serum MMP-9 and sICAM-1 levels in the patients with blood snake injury were higher than those in the control group,t he difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).2.Comparison of 2 different kind s of snakes, the serum MMP-9,sICAM-1 two was not found significant differences in the comparison of Trimeresurus stejnegeri snake tip,and limb swelling between patie nts with injury caused by Agkistrodon acutus(p>0.05).3,different levels of serum MMP-9,sICAM-1 levels of severe swelling group:serum MMP-9,swelling group leve 1 of sICAM-1 was higher than that of mild and moderate swelling group, the differen ces were statistically significant(p=0.00<0.05);and the moderate swelling group, seru m MMP-9,sICAM-1 levels higher than mild swelling group, the differences were stati stically significant(p=0.00<0.05).4.The correlation of serum MMP-9 and sICAM-1 le vels in patients with blood vessel injury, there was a linear correlation between serum MMP-9 and sICAM-1 levels, and the positive correlation was 0.794(p=0.00<0.05)and 1.0(p=0.00<0.05),respectively.5,swelling correlation:according to Spearman test cor relation analysis showed that MMP-9,sICAM-1 content and limb swelling degree(r=0.917,0.823,p<0.05)showed a good correlation.Conclusion:1,Xuexun snakebite patients and healthy controls serum expression of M MP-9 and sICAM-1,elevated serum MMP-9,sICAM-1 of blood circulation in early tr auma patients with snake level;2,the serum MMP-9 and sICAM-1 levels in different Xuexun expression in patients with injury in the snake has no obvious difference,an d the two were positively related;3,the serum MMP-9 concentration of sICAM-1,ac cording to the different degree of swelling blood circulation group injury were snakes increased gradually, and showed a positive correlation, the level of blood circulation c an be used to predict the severity of snakebite index, but the specific mechanism of t he two expression in snakebite swelling in the body still needs further research.
