Panax notoginseng is one of highly valued traditional Chinese medicines(TCM),which belongs to Panax genus under Araliaceae family. At present,it has been formed the industrial chain of P.notoginseng.Traditionally,it is the genuine medicinal materials in Yunnan Province.Raw notoginseng is used for promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis, while the processed form is used as a tonic for its blood cell-increasing function. The main active ingredient of P.notoginseng is ginsenoside, which has anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor,anti-fatigue,inhibition of platelet aggregation, hypoglycemic, neuroprotective effect. The previous research mainly focused on chemical compositions and pharmacological activities of P.notoginseng, but the processing technology and mechanism of P.notoginseng are unavailable. In this thesis,we investigated the processing technology parameters of steamed P.notoginseng through P.notoginseng saponins(PNS)simulation processed P.notoginseng, which provided a scientific basis for the standardization of the processed of P.notoginseng,In addition, the transformation mechanism of saponins in the processed of P.notoginseng was studied by the monomer saponin simulation processed. The results provided scientific support for the rapid preparation of trace saponins. In the end,the stability of ginsenosides Rgl and Rbl which are the main saponins in P.notoginseng placed in the aqueous solution for one year was investigated. Some novel ideas and reference opinions have been given to the safety and efficacy of products containing these ginsenosides. At the same time,it can provide a scientific basis for the reasonable storage of the oral liquid and the injection of monomer ginsenoside or raw materials in the market. The thesis consists of three parts. The first chapter summarizes the research progress of chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of steamed P.Rnotoginseng, and briefly discusses the purpose and significance of the project. In the second chapter, the processed of PNS and its monomer saponins were further studied, and the relationship between the processed conditions and the final products is discussed. The chemical constituents of raw notoginseng were extraction and isolation, and five saponins were isolated from raw notoginseng, which provided sufficient materials for further experimental study,Then, the steamed P.notoginseng was studied systematically. The optimum conditions of PNS were studied. Then,PNS were simulated and processed, resulting in the isolation and identification of eight compounds. At the same time,we use the main saponins constituents such as ginsenosides Rg1 and Rb1 to process. The target product could be obtained by controlling the reaction conditions.Under the mild transformation conditions, the main transformation products of ginsenoside Rgl were 20(R/S)Rh1,and the main products of ginsenoside Rbl were(R/S)Rg3;Under the condition of violent transformation, the conversion products of ginsenoside Rgl were mainly Rk3 and Rh4.The conversion products of ginsenoside Rbl were mainly Rk1 and Rg5.This discovery is important for guiding industrial production of trace ginsenoside products.By control of the reaction conditions,it can improve the yield of target products and reduce byproducts, which is more economical for pharmaceutical companies.Chapter 3 studies the stability of ginsenosides Rgl and Rbl in aqueous solution,It was found that ginsenoside Rgl was less stable in aqueous solution. We isolated and identified four unstable products from ginsenosides Rg1 placed in aqueous solution for one year.Ginsenoside Rbl in aqueous solution Stability is better, its content is basically no change.
