Clinical Study Of Huoxue Qiwei Granules On Varicocele Induced Erectile Dysfunction

Objective: Observe the effects of treating impotence granule combined with surgery in the treatment of varicocele(varicocele,VC)with erectile dysfunction(erectile dysfunction,ED)in patients with clinical efficacy,through clinical observation,expect to find best treatment of varicocele induced erectile dysfunction,promotion and application in clinical practice.Methods: 63 cases of varicocele associated with erectile dysfunction were randomly divided into operation group(group A,n = 21),Chinese medicine group(control group B,n = 21)and surgery plus medicine group(treatment group,n = 21),underwent modified Palomo procedure,selection of Chinese medicine treating impotence Huoxue Qiwei Granules during the treatment,the subjects were not taking other drugs for treating impotence.Treatment after 1 months of follow-up,observe and record the international erectile function index(International Index of erectile Function-5,IIEF-5)score,fatigue scale-14(Fatigue Scale-14 FS-14)index score and safety.To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Huoxue Qiwei combined with surgery in the treatment of varicocele with erectile dysfunction.Result: After the treatment of erectile function in three groups of patients have different degrees of improvement between the 22 groups was more visible,the treatment group than the control group,while the control group A is better than the control group B,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the treatment group and the control group A after treatment of fatigue index decreased significantly,compared with the treatment the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the control group before and after B treatment FS-14 score difference was not statistically significant(P >0.05),and there was significant correlation between the symptoms of fatigue and improve sexual function improved(P < 0.05).During the treatment period,there were no serious adverse reactions in the three groups,indicating good safety.The blood,urine and stool routine,fasting blood glucose,blood lipid,heart,liver,kidney function and other safety indexes were not significantly changed before and after treatmentConclusion: 1,the varicocele may cause different degrees of erectile dysfunction;2,Huoxue Qiwei Granules combined with surgery through the whole and local treatment,can significantly improve the varicocele caused by ED in patients with erectile function,improve IIEF-5 score,curative effect is better than surgery alone or simply use Huoxue Qiwei Granules.The safety of Huoxue Qiwei granules was better,and there were no obvious toxic and side effects during the treatment.3,surgery plus Chinese medicine and surgery alone for patients with VC were fatigue symptoms improved significantly,and the simple use of traditional Chinese medicine is not ideal in improving the symptoms of fatigue effect;4,the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment method is exact,it is worthy of popularization and application in clinical practice.
