The Clinical Curative Effect On The Treatment Of Post Infection Cough (PIC) In Children By Means Of Strengthening Spleen And Replenishing Qi And Smoothing Lung And Relieving Phlegm Herbal Paste

Objective:Through the clinical observation of "Strengthening Spleen and Replenishing Qi?Smoothing Lung and Relieving Phlegm" herbal paste and proprietary Chinese medicine treatment of children post infection cough,compared the two treatment of the disease of lung and spleen deficiency?phlegm moisture hindering syndrome,looking for more effective treatment of traditional chinese medicine new method of children post infection cough,with a view to determine the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine of the disease,to achieve the purpose of decreasing the attack times of the disease,enhancing children's physical fitness,improving children's quality of life.Method:Sixty children with both Lung-Spleen Qi Deficiency and Phlegm moisture hindering syndrome of PIC were studied,which were randomly divided into treatment and control groups.The treatment group treated with "Strengthening Spleen and Replenishing Qi?Smoothing Lung and Relieving Phlegm" herbal paste.The control group were treated with "Invigorating spleen and nourishing lung oral liquid and XingJu mixture" of Chinese patent medicine.Treatment period were both 1 month and followed up for 6 months,to observe clinical symptoms change of the two groups before and after treatment and evaluate the herbal paste curative effect for the treatment of PIC in children.Result:After one month treatment,the treatment group and control group total effective rate is 80.00%and 8.33%respectively.The total effective rates is 96.67%and 79.17%respectively after 2 months of treatment.After the treatment of 3 months and 6 months,the effective rate is 96.67%and 87.50%respectively.There is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.O1);Before and after one month and two months treatment within the two groups,cough and expectoration all have a statistical significance(P<0.05);Before and after treatment group,dampness,fatigue,stool and tongue are statistical significant differences(P<0.01)after two months of treatment,complexion is statistically significant(P<0.05).Spontaneous perspiration is also significant statistical significance(P<0.01);Before and after control group,dampness is statistically significant(P<0.05)after two months of treatment and tongue is statistically significant(P<0.05)after three months of treatment.After six months of treatment,in addition to no difference about complexion and stool,the remaining symptoms are statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment in the two groups,There is no significant difference in the symptom score between the two groups after 1 month to 2 months,except for cough and expectoration scores(P<0.01).Three months of treatment,dampness,complexion,stool are statistically significant(P<0.05).Six months of treatment,dampness,fatigue,voice of cough,spontaneous perspiration,complexion,stool are statistically significant(P<0.05),and tongue has no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:Herbal paste,conforming to "Strengthening Spleen and Replenishing Qi?Smoothing Lung and Relieving Phlegm" therapeutic principle,can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of children with post infection cough and enhance the physical fitness of children.It is suitable for clinical popularization and application of children post infection cough about Lung-Spleen Qi Deficiency and Phlegm moisture hindering syndrome.
