Objective: Clinical analysis of unilateral locking plate fixation for the treatment of type VI tibial plateau fracture. Methods: A retrospective analysis from September 2014 to October 2016 related fractures in patients with clinical data in 60 cases of Schatzker VI tibial plateau treated joint surgery in our hospital, according to the different ways of operation were divided into observation group and control group,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with double incision and double plate internal fixation, while the observation group was treated with unilateral locking plate fixation. The operative time, total length of incision, postoperative drainage volume, postoperative excellent rate of knee function and postoperative complications were observed in the two groups. Results: The observation group and the control group postoperative HSS knee function excellent rate respectively 86.67%,80%.The operation time was(109.3±12.88)min?(113.87±12.84)min.The hospitalization time respectively(23.87±1.74)day?(24.5±2.16)day.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The observation group and the control group in the total length of incision, postoperative drainage volume and postoperative complications were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion: Locking plate internal fixation for the treatment of complex tibial plateau fractures is of clinical significance in shortening the length of incision, reducing postoperative bleeding, protecting the surrounding soft tissue, and reducing the incidence of postoperative complications.
