Objective:To detect the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA)in kaposi’s sarcoma of xinjiang,to discuss the relationship and significancehe between VEGFA and the clinicopathologic feature of kaposi’s sarcoma. Methods:using real-time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR)and immunohistochemical methods to detect VEGFA mRNA and protein in 30 cases of kaposi’s sarcoma of xinjiang,21 cases of hemangioma and in 15 cases of normal skin tissue Results:the expression level of VEGFA mRNA in kaposi’s sarcoma was 11.67±1.80,the expression level of hemangioma group was 10.90±1.22,both difference compared with no statistical significance(P>0.05);in kaposi’s sarcoma was higher than the normal skin tissue group that was 1.02±0.20,There was statistical significance between kaposi’s sarcoma and normal group(P<0.05);the positive expression rate of protein of VEGFA in kaposi’s sarcoma, hemangioma and normal skin tissues was 83.3%,71.4%,6.7%.and its expression in kaposi’s sarcoma group was higher than the normal control group, the difference was statistical significant(P<0.05),compared with expression of hemangioma, there was no significant difference(P>0.05);the expression of VEGFA was no signficant correlation with clinicopathologic feature such as age,gender,HHV-8,HIV,skin lesions area(P>0.05).VEGFA was associated with the pathological classification(rs=0.918,P=0.000),nodule stage was the highest, plaque was higher than patch(P<0.05).Conclusions:the high expression of VEGFA and associated with the pathological classification may be related to the occurrence and development of vessels of kaposi’s sarcoma, this can be provide a new direction for pathogenesis of kaposi’s sarcoma.
