BackgroundChronic heart failure is becoming the most important cardiovascular disease of the century as a serious stage of various kinds of heart development.Cardiovascular disease Chinese report 2013" of cardiovascular disease in our country is still at the growing stage, the prevalence of heart failure increased the reason for a variety of cardiovascular diseases, such as increased hypertension and coronary heart disease and its risk factors, and the prevalence of heart failure increased another reason for the aging of the population. In this study chronic heart failure were divided into three syndrome they are yin deficiency and yang deficiency and both of them, and we studied the correlation with the ejection fraction and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide they are quantitative index of chronic heart failure, and provides the basis for the clinical doctors classification of syndrome.ObjectiveWe use prospective study method to observe the chronic heart failure's distribution regularity of syndrome differentiation of Yin and Yang and the relationship with the ejection fraction and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide. This can provide important diagnostic approaches for the classification of TCM syndrome of yin-yang.MethodsIn this study we have choose between April 2016 and December 2016 hospitalized patients with chronic heart failure and included in the standard as the research object.Differentiation of yin and Yang Syndrome of traditional Chinese medicine on each object type,to record N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide value and ejection fraction, analysis of distribution characteristics of yin and Yang Syndrome of chronic heart failure and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide, and LVEF and its relationship with heart function in statistics.Chronic heart failure was classified Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency and both of them.According to the statistical analysis methods,P>0.01,There is no statistically significant difference of their syndrome of distribution. Also there is no statistically significant difference relationship of the TCM syndrome of distribution with NT-proBNP and ejection fraction.ResultsIn this study chronic heart failure were divided into three syndrome they are yin deficiency and yang deficiency and both of them,Based on statistical analysis, distribution of their syndromes is no significant. The correlation analysis showed that there are no significant difference between N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide and deficiency of yin and Yang and both of them.there was no significant difference in statistics between the syndromes and LVEF;ConclusionThe distribution of their yin-yang syndromes is no significant. So the N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide and ejection fraction are not considered as the reference index of the syndrome differentiation of TCM.
