Objective: In order to explore the relationship between phlegm dampness and the cardiovascular disease risk factors in Uygur prehypertension people.To provide a basis for the prevention of hypertension in the Uygur phlegm constitution population.Methods:Collected 240 cases of Uygur prehypertension people.According to "Chinese medicine constitution classification scale" to determine the patient's constitution Collected 124 cases of phlegm constitution,116 cases of non-phlegm constitution.Collected the patient's gender,age,drinking history,smoking history,Sleeping condition,family history of hypertension,height,weight,body mass index(BMI),waistline,free fatty acids,low density lipoprotein,cholesterol,triglycerides,fasting blood glucoseand other indicators and information.Compared prehypertensive phlegm constitution group with non-phlegm constitution of the different risk factors for hypertension through the statistical calculation.To explore the correlation between prehypertensive phlegm constitution and risk factors of hypertension.Results: Drinking,exercise,waist circumference,body weight,body mass index(BMI),triglyceride(TG),serum total cholesterol(TC)and low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)were closely related to phlegm constitution(P<0.05).Alcohol,low density lipoprotein,triglyceride,body weight,BMI is a risk factor to phlegm constitution(OR>1).Smoking,sleep,family history of hypertension,fasting blood glucose,high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),free fatty acid had no significant correlation to prehypertensive phlegm constitution(P>0.05).Conclusion: Uygur phlegm constitution and Prehypertension and hypertension associated risk factors are very closely linked.By correcting the biased constitution,interveneing in the early stage of hypertension,can prevent the occurrence and development of hypertension.
