Anatomic Locking Plate Internal Fixation With External Control Study For The Treatment Of Calcaneal Fractures

Objective: to study the anatomic locking plate open reduction and internal fixation with locking plate external clinical curative effect for the treatment of calcaneal fractures,Methods: select 2014 July in October 2016 calcaneal closed fracture patients in the group A(closed reduction and external set of locking plate)25 cases,B group of 28 cases(open reduction and internal fixation group),53 patients with calcaneal fractures were retrospectively analyzed,(35 male and female 18 cases;Ages 18 to 67 years,an average of 39.1 years.Sanders fracture classification: 18 cases ? type,type ? 29 cases,? type 6 cases.Analysis content including operation time,intraoperative blood loss,postoperative complications,and postoperative function recovery image information(according to Maryland foot function scoring criteria),,Results: 53 patients were followed up for 9 to 35 months with an average of 20.4 months.The operation time and intraoperative blood loss were less than group B,group A had no fracture healing,infection and skin necrosis,and 1 case of traumatic devascularization.Group B had local skin necrosis,Application of artificial bone 4 months without healing,1 case of traumatic arthritis,no deep infection occurred.There was no significant difference in imaging performance between the two groups at the last follow-up.Postoperative functional recovery in group A was excellent in 8 cases,good in 12 cases;group B was excellent in 10 cases and good in 14 cases.There was no significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion: the locking plate external treatment of calcaneal fractures,can obtain the good reduction and reliable fixation,and the operation time,intraoperative blood loss and early postoperative local complications in skin,more open reduction and internal fixation treatment has obvious advantages.
