A Study Of The Relationship Between Parenting Styles And Behavior Problems In Children With Asthma

With the development of economy,and people living standard rising,a healthy lifestyle is more and more popular,at the same time,more and more people focused on psychological health,so the psychological impact on health has gained a lot of attention and research.In order to meet the public demand,our country has been turning the core of medical health to be on disease prevention and control,promoting the development of Chinese medicine,and spreading the culture of traditional Chinese medicine keeping in good health,what's more,the thoughts of "Good doctors prevent illness" and "the unity of body and soul" have also been more and more familiar to you.As a multiple childhood psychosomatic disease,the occurrence,development,prevention and control of allergic asthma is closely related to psychosocial factors.However,in most clinical practices,the doctors only take the biological-medical model treatment,and ignore the influence of psychosocial factors on children such as the family upbringing,children's bad behavior habits.Therefore this study is to find out the psychological observation indexes according to investigating the relationship between the asthma children's upbringing ways and problem behaviors,as a result to provide the theoretical guidance of psychology for the health and improvement of the asthma children.With the Achenbach's child behavior scale(CBCL)and Lizhu Yang's parents parenting questionnaire,this study did a research on 424 healthy and asthma children,using SPSS 17.0 to deal with the data analysis,the non-parametric test,correlation analysis,variance analysis,Cluster analysis and Logistic regression analysis.1.Children's gender,age,and mother's cultural level have significant effects on children's behavior;the children's age,mother's cultural level and household income significantly impact on parenting.2.The educational methods of healthy children and parents of children with asthma are to be used to predict the problem behaviors of children.Democratic parenting style negatively predicts behavior problems;spoiled,laissez faire,autocratic and inconsistent parenting positively predicts behavioral problems.3.Healthy children and children with asthma reared in spoiled,laissez faire,inconsistent dimensions are statistically differences in behavior problems of attention,social attack,disciplinary dimensions showed significant differences.Cluster analysis also showed that the two groups had visual differences.4.Problem behaviors of attention dimension and upbringing of the spoil,authoritarian dimension for the forecast of the level of asthma control effect is good.This study concluded as follows:1.The age of the child,mother's cultural level and other factors are the demographic variables that influence parents' parenting and children's behavioral problems.2.The parenting style and behavior problem have close contact,and the parenting methods have different prediction.3.Behavioral problems and parenting style of asthma children and healthy children are obviously different The asthma group has its own characteristics of parenting style and behavior problems.4.Parenting style and behavior problems of asthma children can be used as a clinical observation index of psychological asthma control level.
