Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy,complications and influencing factors of 100 patients undergoing primary total hip arthroplasty(THA)were followed up for 5 years.Method:Following up the 100 patients(123 hips)who were treated with THA by Liuzhou City Workers Hospital Department of Joint Surgery from June 2011 to December 2011.The Follow-up content includes clinical and imaging.Harris score and SF-36 health survey scale were applied in the clinical outcomes in the evaluation of joint function and the quality of life preoperative and postoperative operation.Gruen femoral partition method and DeLee-Chamley acetabulum partition method were adopted in the radiographic result to evaluate femoral prosthesis and acetabulum prosthesis for imaging evaluation analysis.Results:82(99 hips)case were considered valid in this study,of which there were 71 male(86 hips)and 11 female(13 hips),the rate is 82.0%,The average period of visits for each case was 5.2 years(5.0~5.5 years).Harris score increased from an average of 46.82 points(4 to 75 points)to an average of 91.31 points(27 to 100 points)in the last follow-up.Among them,excellent(65 hips),good(19 hips),(10 hips)Hip),excellent rate was 91.7%.SF-36 scale score results:SF-36 PCS increased from preoperative(31.19 ± 9.16)points to(72.96 ± 16.22)points,while SF-36 MCS increased from preoperative(33.50 ±8.50)64.15 ± 11.72)points.Aseptic loosening 3 hips,osteolysis 23 hips,heterotopic ossification 5 hips,claudication 13 cases have been found.What is more,there is no sign of prosthesis dislocation,periprosthetic fractures and infection in this follow-up study.Conclusion:The primary THA patients for the 5 years follow-up overall efficacy satisfaction,the quality of life of patients was significantly improved,but the long-term efficacy still need further follow-up.
